Confused about my AK & MK day.

We (4 adults) staying at SoG will be at Disney 12/6 & 12/7 (Mon & Tues).
Our 12/6 day will be HS (early morning) then hop to Epcot in the afternoon (extra hours).
On 12/7 I was thinking starting the day at AK, then hoping to MK, however MK hours are 9-8 because of MVMCP (which we don't plan on attending).

OR would it make sense to START at MK to get all the rides out of the way, THEN hop to AK for a few hours then go BACK to MK for fireworks?
I'm going to wait on a decision about Genie+ until I see more reports on it, but I'm strongly leaning towards a $ILL for RotR, and depending which park we do first on 12/7 maybe 7DMT.

Start early at Animal Kingdom, then head to MK and stay there. Too time consuming to hop back and forth like that since MK closes early.

I understand where you are coming from... so I'd consider doing MK first and then hopping to AK HOWEVER I would not then rush back over to MK for fireworks.
