Confused about BOG...help!

Hey y'all!
Soooooo Beauty and the Beast is my favorite and BOG has opened since our last visit. I understand that Dinner is an ADR, and Breakfast/Lunch are Counter Service. Am I reading incorrectly that there is a fast pass? I'm also reading about preordering...do you need to have said fast pass? I don't really understand how this all works. Can your clue me in? Also, would it be completely impossible to eat there at breakfast or lunch the week prior to Christmas?

You need to make an ADR for BOG, yes it is a quick service/counter service meal for breakfast and lunch, but you still need the ADR.

You can still try for an ADR, but if you do not get one, then yes it will be impossible to eat there the week prior to Christmas. You could get lucky and find an ADR before you go, I doubt that you will find an ADR when you are there and they will not have room for walk ups.

I think you're reading old info. BOG lunch used to be via fast pass, but has since switched to an ADR as mentioned above.

BOG breakfast and lunch work like any other quick service location with a few exceptions - you need an ADR (due to crowd control), you have the option to pre-order your food through MDE to save you some time, and the CMs bring the food to your table. Otherwise, it's the same as any other QS where you seat yourself, get your own drinks, and use a QS credit if on the dining plan.

I'm going to second this opinion. In the last week, I've been able to get 2 ADR's for BOG. The first one I made the night we booked our trip and I was just trying to get an ADR for it (my daughter's ONLY request for WDW). Once I realized I really didn't want to go to MK that particular day, I started looking for an ADR for the day I did want to go into MK and ended up finding one a couple days later and dropped the first ADR. So, long story short: don't give up.

I have been searching nonstop for our party of 6 for BOG. We have 2 huge Beauty and the Beast fans in our family. I have a feeling it will all work out if we remain persistent. If not, we at least got lucky on the ADRs we already have and feel thankful for that.
