Conflicting US Airways Airbus A319 diagrams

I am getting conflicting diagrams of this type of plane. We're flying to WDW out of Philly on US Air. According to our ressies, they changed the type of plane to the Airbus A319 and our seats. We have 3 kids - one of which will have a car seat.

Seat Guru shows the exit row as 9 so car seats would be allowed in row 11 - thats great. Now my problem - the diagram of this plane on US Air's website shows exit rows as row 9 & 10 and we're in row 11 so I don't think a carseat would be allowed.

My TA called US Air and they confirmed it would be ok for a car seat. I'm still nervous. Anybody ever fly on this type of plane? Just wondering what others think.

You are most likely NOT flying USAir, but America West and will be on an A319-100. America West is partnered with USAir so it's possible they will be running your flight. The A319-100 that America West uses has rows 9 and 10 set up for exit rows. Check your reservations and they'll probably say something about the flight being operated by America West.

One thing to note, aircraft can be configured differently based on the airlines specs. The basic shape and mechanics are the same, but the insides can be customized if you will. That is what explains the difference.

I suggest this too, however, be aware there is a little bit of a learning curve for those who aren't frequent flyers or travel "freaks"

Just checked our flyertalk.com. Tried to figure out where to post but couldn't - lots of plane lingo! Oh well - I think its one of those things where we won't know until we see for ourselves. I guess we can swap seats w/someone if we have to. Thanks all!

If you are flying from PHL, chances are you are flying a USAirways plane, not an America West. The 2 airlines merged and are in the process of reconfiguring their planes to match. I did hear that they are squeezing an extra row into the A319, I noticed the last time I flew one that there seemed to be less leg room. If there's a problem, the gate agent or flight attendent will take care of switching you since it would be a rules issue.
