conflicting info on fireworks schedule

i am trying to see the F/W from Cali Grill either during or (more likely) after dinner. AKL Concierge got me reservations but they are very early. The Disney site says F/W (the new "WIshes") will be at 9pm that night. Just called WDW DINE to try and get a later seating and she told me F/W will be at 7:30. Don't you think I should go by the Disney site? I know they added a Spectro showing (8pm and 10pm) and changed the F?W description to "Wishes" for the Fireworks show so I feel it is more current than what this woman knew...does anyone think she may be right? In early October I don't even think it will be dark enough by 7:30 for F/W anyway??!!

October 11th. It's a Saturday. Disney site says 9pm. Disney Dining says 7:30pm. Thank you~

Fireworks are usually later on Saturdays, I would guess 9:00pm is correct. They may have been looking at Fantasmic.

Sunset is 7:12 pm on Oct 1st, so 7:30 pm would be a tad early.

I think the WDW website says 8 pm (closing time) on 10/1, and then 9 pm on 10/4.

FWIW, the first MNSSHP will be on 10/3 and the last time we went to MNSSHP they had a special Halloween-themed Spectro parade, but I can't remember whether they also did fireworks that night.
