Confirming stuff?

Hey all!

I am having an intimate wedding. At what point did you start confirming things, outlining final details with your planner, and finalizing things? Also when did you get your final budget?

I am getting very nervous about everything coming together. Especially the smaller details like Rev. Day remembering to show up, Anna at Makeover Majic remembering to go to Shades of Green and not the Contemporary or something crazy....on and on and on......

Just nerves!

Why don't you just give a quick confirmation phone call or email. To help you feel better. These people are professionals, so I would hope they would remember details. I'm sure everything will be smooth.

TinkBride- this thread right here.... this very topic makes me grin! . I think this is what caused me the absolute most stress about 1 month out from my wedding. I was getting down to 2 weeks until I left... and I really hadnt confirmed with anyone. So I e-mailed Randy, e-mailed Rev Jack (but ended up having to phone him), e-mailed Lisa from Lisa's Magical Weddings, e-mailed Carolyn etc... This was almost 2 weeks out. I was freaking out and thought everyone forgot about me. I still wasnt convinced that the Reverend was going to show up until the day before the wedding. Luckily I ended up hearing something from everyone. I asked them all whether or not I needed to call them upon my arrival- I called everyone (whether I needed to or not) with my room number once I got to the hotel.

About my BEO. I just recently posted on this.
Okay, I went through my e-mail. I got my Budget and Banquet Event Order on October 4, and my wedding was November 14th. She gave me until October 16th (12 days) to get it back to her with everything filled in (especially those things which were "to be determined"..). I got my finalized copy and we were ready to rock!

Goodluck!! Dont stress out over this (although it is much easier said than done because I dont think I ever got more stressed at anything).

Girl don't sweat. I just got my BEO today and look at my ticker. I'm sending it with my payment next week and I'll start confirming with all my other vendors then too.

I guess one reason I kinda freaked was because I was told two weeks ago by BEO would be in the mail and I haven't seen anything, so I was thinking they forgot about me.

I will just confirm people about two weeks out and like Maggimus said, probably when i arrive too to give my room number to people, in case they need to get a hold of me.

****sigh****

Time is going sooooo fast!
