Confirmations by mail?

I booked our 3 rooms on Feb 7th, at Pop Century. I received our confirmation numbers while on the phone with the CM, along with our Grand Gathering number, etc. I only paid the first night's deposit, as required at time of booking. It was a room only ressie. I am concerned because it has been a little over 2 weeks now and we haven't yet received the confirmation and bill for balance due in the mail. Every other time we have received them within a week or so. I don't want to call and bug a CM if it is just taking longer nowadays. How long has it been for any of you until you received your confirmation in the mail?

I ordered mine room only on dec 24th, never got a confirmation letter either, I did get a 'welcome' package thingy that had tips on things to do and said something like disney welcomes the so and so family staying at pop, but it wasnt a confirmation letter like they used to do(maybe they decided to make the confirmation letters more fun and make it a fanfold package?

I booked for November 11-15th (hoping that it is SSW again this year), and got my confirmation in the mail within a week. This was just last week so I don't know why you wouldn't have received it yet. I am sure it will come but you can call CRO just to double check your ressie if it will make you feel better.

I made our reservations at CSR(for late April trip) on February 1, 2005.
My deposit was made that night, and showed up on my credit card 3 days later. I have a reservation number, but have yet, as of today, Feb. 23 to get anything in the mail confirming my reservation or as a welcome type package.

I was going to give them 3 wks to get it here, but since we have not seen anything then, we will be calling this weekend. I was under the impression that you received a package in the mail with park info, resort info like maps/checkin/checkout time, etc. Maybe closer to the actual trip?

We booked just before Christmas (for mid-March, yahoo) and I just got confirmation in the mail yesterday!!!

Just one more reason to be excited!!!

We stayed at the Poly last year and never did receive our confirmation letter. I had the number, and really didn't need the letter anyway.

I booked my Spring trip on Feb 8th and called back on the 11th to modify it. Both confirmations arrived today by mail.

Of course mine is DVC, not sure about the other resorts.

I booked on Dec 26 and did not get a confiramtion. I called back about two weeks ago to add a request and I told the CM that I hadn't received any paper work. She said, "oh, it doesn't look like it has been sent yet." I got the confirmation yesterday in the mail.

I've modified mine twice and got confirmation within a week.

I received my first confirmation within a week , then after making some modififications, received a second within a week , then within another week I received the "welcome" package. My trip isn't until August

I made my ressies in January and haven't received a confirm yet. Our mail comes from the slow boat to nowhere, but still.. I accessed the Disneyworld website and it is on there, and correct. Thank goodness.

I just made my room ressies early last week, but I did ask the guy if they would be sending me a written confirmation and he said yes. I'm patiently watching the mail. I need something in my grubby little hands to make it seem more official. Hope it doesn't take too long.

Thank you all for your responses! It makes me feel much better. We did receive a welcome packet, but I would like to get the confirmation letters, too. I'm going to pay off the rooms next month and want to get the info on where to send payment from them

Just wanted to add that I made a DVC ressie for Dec '05 about a week before the Pop Century ressies and received that confirmation within about 7-10 days. That's partly why I'm concerned, although I know they come from different places probably. Thanks again...

I booked my rooms for April 7th in Feb. I had to modify 3 times and I received a letter everytime within 1week.

Our upcoming trip at the end of March is already paid for, but I have gotten a bill for the trip three times in the mail. I have called and the CMs confirm that we're all paid for, so why do I keep getting the bills?

I booked mine through the Disney website on January 21 and just realized that I never did get a confirmation in the mail. It is confirmed on their website though, so I guess that's okay.
