Confirmation - gift amount??

Hello everyone,

My niece is making her Confirmation tomorrow and she has asked my DH to be her sponser. I haven't been to a Confirmation in many years and I don't know what a good gift amount would be - especially considering the fact that my husband will be her sponser.

Any thoughts?

How about a cross and/or a chain bought for a gift?

It was ancient history for me but my sponsor (uncle) gave me $100.... It was the only thing that made that day bearable I think he gave me that much because I took one for the team....

So yeah I would go with $100

My son made his Confirmation in November. The least someone gave him was $50 and the most was $250. It all went into his savings account.

Being the Confirmation sponsor I would give her something she could wear at the ceremony.

....that's what I usually do...plus a card with $25 dollars or so...
