Confirm your ADRs!!!

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining - had to cancel some ADRs because we have changed our trip dates. I had previously booked ADRs for the new dates, and on a whim asked the CM if we could confirm them while we were on the phone.

Disney had us down for both H&V and OHana on the same night and the same time, and we had no ADR on the night I had in my planner for OHana. The CM said she didn't know how that could have happened, since their computers are not supposed to even allow multiple reservations for the same person on the same date. Anyway, because I have the tripped already mapped out, I wanted to keep H&V on Monday and OHana on Wednesday. It took a little time, but we were able to make it happen since I could eat early (little kids).

Moral to this story is confirm your ADRs in advance. Had we gotten down there, I seriously doubt we could have gotten an ADR for either the Fantasmic package or OHana for the open night. DH would have been :furious: and I'd have been pretty :sad: and :mad:
 
Someone goofed. You can have multiples because when I changed mine earlier today we made the new ADR before we cancelled the old one so at least for some amount of time I had 2 booked per day at similar times.
 
I'll be sure to confirm (and re-confirm ;) ) our ADRs. Thanks for the reminder!
 
Confirming is probably a good idea. We had ADR's at Les Chefs and when we went there, they had no ADR's for us. Luckily they were able to seat us anyway because we had one of our best dinners there!
 

This must be happening quite a bit. A few weeks ago I called to add another person to my ADRs and the CM couldn't find them. :eek: I gave her my confirmation numers and they were listed under my cell phone number and the first CM had mispelled both my first and last name so bad that the second CM couldn't find it under my name. I always give them my home number when I call in, but I always use my cell phone to call in with. The CM told me that the number I use to call in will show up on their screen, but the CMs are supposed to ask for a number. The first CM apparently just used the number on her screen. She used just the first three letters of my first name (which changes it to a man's name) and my last name got changed from Jackson to Johnson. Anyway the second CM was able to locate them all and fix them. I called a few days later to add another ADR and to make sure they were right I asked the CM to please verify all my ADRs again. The second CM had rebooked our HDDR for the first show instead of the second, so another mistake. I would definitely verify all my ADRs!
 
I always confirm our ADR's especially since we had a problem a few years back.
