Confession from Brian Laundrie

Absolute nonsense. They had a fight, he snapped and killed her, and this was the bizarre story he concocted to make himself look better to everyone. If she was hurt all he had to do was throw her in that van and go get help. Hell leave her there and go flag down help. They were so close to a road.
All lies.

And supposedly this area was swamp land under water which was the original reason they couldn't find his body. Pictures of that notebook shown in the article don't look like it was underwater all that time.

I think he wrote that in case he couldn't go through with killing himself. He wanted to use it as some sort of defense, like a mercy killing.
Normal rational people don't end their loved one's life when they injure themselves, they take their loved one to the hospital, or try to get them help another way. They also don't just leave them out in the middle of nowhere, flee back home and not tell anyone what they did while her family and the rest of the country was trying to find her.

I don't know where he is in the afterlife but let's hope it's as "merciful" to him as he was to her.....for eternity.

He’s rewriting history and making himself the hero of his story. It was a mercy killing. He didn’t want to, but she was in so much pain she was begging to be put out of her misery and he just loved her so much… He would’ve driven north to let one of her dads kill him but he didn’t want them to go to prison. He’s killing himself in a preserve so wild animals can tear him apart because that’ll make Gabby’s family happy. And please don’t litter, Gabby would’ve wanted it that way. Wow, what a selfless, upstanding guy, that Brian Laundrie. Always thinking of others. :rolleyes2

I especially like how he wouldn't let her fall asleep because he was afraid she could have had a concussion and might die — so he killed her. He was afraid the fire would go out and she might freeze to death — so he killed her. He didn’t want to leave her alone because something terrible might have happened to her — so he killed her. He’s so full of it.

In reality, he was less than a ten-minute walk from their van across a two-inch-deep creek in an area that had such excellent cell service a reporter was able to live stream a video from that spot:

Hell, he probably could’ve just screamed for help and his voice would’ve carried far enough for someone in the campground to hear. It’s not like national parks are known for being excessively noisy in the dead of night.

It’s so disgusting.
I can’t see how anybody would believe this.
This note was a big back fire. But it will probably bode well in the lawsuit Gabby’s parents have filed against Brian’s parents. IMO, the note just serves to make his parents culpable.

After having read that "I did it" letter, the biggest thing that jumped out at me was he was crazy. Because only a crazy person would have done that.

Yeah, it's BS. He made it up so nobody would blame him. If she was really that seriously injured, he could have gotten her help, and the autopsy would have shown her being injured. I doubt anybody is going to believe that.

He's full of poop (to put it nicely). There was no mercy in that. He snapped and killed her.

Scumbag, I don't buy a single thing he said. I just relish that he was alligator food.
