Condiments

Ketchup is the "go to", for some reason w/the Chic Fil A waffle fries, I will do about half of them in mayo if there are any extra packets sitting around.

*If it's available, brown gravy.

Ketchup or mayo. Or both mixed together if that's an option. In the US I'm more likely to just default to ketchup, unless a restaurant specifically gives mayo (like BOG used to give truffle mayo with the steak frites).

It depends on the fries. I tend to like fast food fries with ketchup and heartier steak fries with mayo, but I do have an "Other." I see gravy on the list, but I suspect that's brown gravy. I like dipping my fries in cream gravy (i.e. the southern variety with black pepper). I'm especially fond of this with Whataburger fries.

I unfortunately cannot eat potatoes anymore because they are in the nightshade family and they don’t agree with my annoying stomach. I used to like dipping them in Polynesian sauce from chick-fil-a

Ketchup, or if there's no ketchup, sprinkle on some malt vinegar.

Going to London in a couple of weeks and looking forward to trying them with curry sauce.

Honestly, most anything is good on fries. I usually do use ketchup because that's what will be available or served with them. Any kind of dipping sauce is good though. At Chick-fil-A I usually get buffalo or polynesian to dip fries in.

Nothing. I don't dip fries in anything, however, I LOVE stuff on my fries, like chili cheese fries, poutine of any kind, etc. Like right now, and almost every morning, I have French fries w cheese and bacon bits for breakfast/brunch. But if I just order fries, or have fries as a side, I just want them salted. I hate ketchup.

tartar sauce (which most if not all restaurants around us immediatly offer up along with ranch and catsup when you order fries). i also like yellow mustard.
that said-sonics used to have chicken fried steak 'nuggetts' on their menu that came with the option of a small container of warm country gravy which was fantastic to dip fries in.

Maybe once every five years or so I’ll crave very hot fries with very cold ketchup but in general if ketchup is the only choice for dipping I don’t dip. Never mayo. Otherwise the sky is the limit depending on what I’m eating. Ranch needs to be homemade not bottled. Thousand Island, Blue Cheese, brown gravy. Lately it’s been Stubb’s Chicken dipping sauce.

Love vinegar on fries/chips/pommes frites. I'm from up North, it was the norm.

Down South I learned about gravy on fries, and that's pretty amazing too.

Mustard, honey mustard, buffalo sauce, horseradish sauce, vinegar are my go tos.

Chick fil A fries get Chick Fil A sauce

For some reason I like Chik Fil A buffalo sauce on their waffle fries. I'd probably not try it with any other fry but it works with those.

Back when I ate fries on the regular, I liked melted Cheez Whiz and ketchup. Also, when I'm in Wildwood on the boardwalk I get thick cut fries with the skin on doused with lots of malt vinegar.

So many options I can't choose one - so it depends on the day and what I have

Curry sauce
Curry ketchup
Nandos Garlic Perinaise Mayonnaise
Nando's Hot Tangy and Fiery Perinaise
Mayo mixed with Sriracha
Coleslaw
mayo
parmesan cheese and truffle oil
