Has anyone been to the Concourse Steakhouse in CR? We're pretty plain eaters and the menu there sounds "normal". What are the prices like and what is the atmosphere like? CR site really doesn't emphasize on it.

Hi, We just ate there in July and enjoyed it. I too am a plain eater and wanted something simple. The steak and burgers are very good. THe prices are about average for Disney's restaurants. I can't remember exactly what we paid but I do know it was at least a $40 lunch for us. We also found it very relaxing after a hot few hours in the parks. It was nice to be away from some of the crowds. If you are doing dinner, naturally the prices will be higher. Enjoy if you try it!

The Concourse Steakhouse is one of the things we miss most about not staying at the Contemporary...we used to stay there every year before we were DVC members at the Boardwalk. We loved having dinner at the steakhouse and we ate breakfast there almost every morning (pre-children!). If you go for breakfast, make sure to have some "Mickey's Stickey's"--they are sooooo yummy. We always had great service and a lot of fun and great food at the Concourse Steakhouse. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks too for the info, CR is where we want to stay next year and my DH and I are also very plain eaters. I could have steak and burgers everyday! FYI on the www.wdwig.com you can print out menus. I've been printing tons and concourse was one of them.

I ate here in may. The restaurant sort of seems like it is in a spot where there shouldn't be one but it has pleasant colors and is comfortable but nothing special and being located next to Chef Mickey's, it can be a bit loud. The CM I had serve me was outstanding. The menu is not big. I ordered the filet. If you like just meat, make sure you tell them to leave the sauce off. It was a fine filet but not memorable. The bread was excellent as was the salad and cappucino mousse for desert.

We have enjoyed dinner there several times. DW and twin DD's are very picky eaters so there is something "plain" for them. We enjoy being in one of the original WDW hotels and watching the monorail go by. It may have been coincidental, but we seem to get veteran servers there who are excellent at providing service.
