I am considering eating here after a Saturday at AK and before we see Spectro at MK. I want your reviews --- both good and bad. It seems to get a bad rap here, but the menu selections appeal to me, as well as the price:)

We actually enjoyed the CSH.
The food and service was great, we will return again.

Yes, posters state can be loud. But your at the CR, its all open so everything echoes. Even the CG at CR is loud.

This didn't destroy or dinner -- in fact we felt more at ease. It wasn't hush, hush.

We have had great experiences at Concourse Steakhouse. Very good food, and comfortable to eat at with kids. It was louder than some sit down places, but not uncomfortable.

We've been a few times (most recently in September) and the food and service were good. DW and DD's are dedicated carnivores and they were very pleased.

This is my review from my recent trip in October:

Concourse Steakhouse/Contemprary
This meal I was very disapointed in. There was good points and bad points to the meal. I just just felt for the price we paid and what we received was not equal. Our server did an excellent job. My children shared the chicken, mash potatoes and corn meal. We also ordered asparagus for them (we never received it and had to have it removed from the bill)Dh and I both ordred drinks and they were good. I ordered the 5 onion soup. It was very flavorful but the onions and garlic chips were alomost raw. they were very crunchy. Not what i had envisioned. Dh had the salad and it was very good. we both ordered the filet and mash potatoes. Our steaks were ordered med rare to med.We received well done charred steaks. BLECH We didnt havetime to wait for new meals (dinning with young kids that is the break)They offered to buy us all dessert. We ordered 3 and they charged for 1 of them and would not remove one of them. They changed their minds and stated since only two
meals were runied we could have only2 desserts.Ii wish they would have told us before we ordered dessert.( 3 desserts were still less than 1 of our meals.) We paid for our dinnerand went on The quality of the food was not worth the prices they are charging.I do not think we will eat here again.

the food & service were great. One thing I have found is do NOT listen to reviews. I have found several places I like that normally gets bad reviews. You never know for sure unless you check it out!! ;)

I have never had dinner there, but it it one of my favorite breakfasts on property. I love those Sticky Mickeys!

kdibattista has the best advice .... just try it! Two different families could arrive at the exact same restaurant at the exact same time...get the same exact server and the exact same food and have two very different opinions of the night!
A lot of planning goes into choosing restaurants on a Disney trip and final decisions are made, often times, on a gut feeling. We've gone to some disappointing restaurants...but I never regret making the choice...all part of the Disney experience!
(By the way, tell me what you think, Renee...we're thinking of going there next time!!)

We have eaten there with groups of 3 to 11 people. Every meal has been great, all steaks and food has been prepared the way we requested. Service has always been friendly & efficient. They also have great breakfasts, have the blueberry pancakes!

I agree with the other posters. If it is a restaurant you want to try, try it and make your own opinion. Just because we had a bad experience and a disapointing meal does not mean you will..we had good and bad points to our dinner. I hope you have a wonderful dinner here.

said we proably would not go back because there are other restaurants we want to try and have plenty of our own favorites.

Thanks for the info. This restraurant just seems like it will work well in our plans for the day. I will make a PS and let you all know how it turns out.

Thanks Renee
