Concourse Steakhouse?

Concourse Steakhouse was our last adr of our Nov/Dec trip. We had lunch there on Dec 2nd at noon. It was delicious. We purchased the dining plan so we had a nice salad, steak and dessert. The steak was prepared exactly as asked. Yummy onion rings. Our service was really nice, so we tipped extra. My ds had the painter's palette (cookie to paint) and had a big time.

As with all dining at Disney, you'll get mixed reviews, but this was one of Our best dining experiences.

The first time we went to Concourse, it was my all time favorite at DW and I raved about it to everyone. In fact, I even spoke to the chef to tell him out excellent my food was.

Second time, I went there it was DIFFERENT. Not bad, not excellent like the first time.

Third time, we went there it was awful. Some of the food came out cold and it was not suppose to be. I have always ordered the same thing there and even it wasn't the same.

These were all different trips with varying amounts of crowds. The first time, the restaurant was practically dead. The last time it was packed. I do not think we will be going there on our next trip. I was trully disheartened.

we loved concourse steakhouse on previous vists, however on our last trip (Oct) it wasn't quite up to scratch, although our server was brilliant, and we had a lengthy conversation about wine choices and he willingly gave me tasters of all the reds till I found one I loved ..... anyway back to the steaks ........ they were not the beautiful melt in the mouth delights we remembered. nothing particularly nasty about them just not as good. This year we are planning on Le Cellier twice instead of cellier x 1 concourse x 1

I think it's kind of fun to go to the CR and have a meal there. I wouldn't call it an event like a dinner at Ohana, but the food is good and you can see the monorail run through the concourse. If you're craving a super steak, you'd probably do better elsewhere. :earsboy:
