Eating there in October.

Have eaten at many, many WDW restaurants, but not this one.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, reviews???

Thank you kindly, in advance, for your help...

I have never eaten here, but I'm told it is often overlooked and very easy to get in for lunch or breakfast (also a nice break from MK).

We ate breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse for the first time on our last trip. It was delicious! The mini Stickey Mickey was to die for (sort of like a cinnamon roll, but different--you pour the brown sugar/butter mixture over a roll yourself)!

I had the Chef's Madness with the Magic Kingdom Express, and it was great. My mom and my fiance both had the Steakhouse Trio, and they said it was delicious as well. Plus, it was nice to watch the monorail glide by while we ate. I was a little concerned that the noise from nearby Chef Mickey's would bother us, but we actually only heard it about twice during our meal, and it wasn't a bother at all.

Interesting you ask. DH and I were talking about this one yesterday. We ate there once. The food was good, not great but quite good. The service was good, not great, but quite good. For the price you can't go wrong. Not sure why we haven't been back, maybe the atmosphere? We didnt' really like it. It was tad noisy due to Chef Mickey's next door. I'm not thrilled with the monorail gliding ove rmy head while I eat. But if I was with someone that wanted to eat there those wouldn't be compelling enough reasons to decline. Enjoy!

My daughter and I had lunch there once this year. It was fine. At lunch you don't have to deal with Chef Mickey's. We'll probably stop by again someday but like Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe better I think.

dh and i decided to try it out next month based on the menu. i'll post a review when we get back. :)

We generally make it our lunch place after 1/2 day at MK. We like it & especially like the monorail gliding above our heads. It's fun to see if you can get the folks in the monorail to wave. The food is actually quite good. At lunch they have a huge chicken ceasar salad that my wife loves. My kids like the pizza and I actually tried it once- had a chicken with roasted garlic it was tasty. I like the burger- it is huge and tasty as well. I have also tried the reuben which is also good. We had dinner there once it was good - I had prime rib (as I recall) and the onion soup - which I remember was very good. Try it - you'll like it!

I too had never eaten at the Concorse Steakhouse. One night this last May I had an open evening and took the boat over for dinner and got in without at PS. It is not a particularly atmospheric restaurant but it was comfortable and pleasant. The menu is small. I ordered the Filet Mignon. The bread served there is very good though extremely crunchy and messy. The Filet was good though not the best one I have ever had. I had a great Capaccino Mousse for desert. Service was very good and friendly.
I would rate this as a decent place to eat but not a particular favorite with so many other interesting places at WDW. I would go back out of convenience or to take people who are into a less fancy/ more straight forward menu.

We find it dark, cool, and relaxing after a big day, or even on our arrival day. I agree it is good--not great--but enjoyable. We have found the CM's very helpful with above average service.

I've had dinner there three times over the years and I would say that I know Ive payed much more for dinners that weren't as good. I think it is a real value as far as WDW goes.

We've eaten there twice. The first time the service and food were excellent. The second time the service was excellent but boy did we wait for our food. The waitress kept apologizing that they had a new grill person in the back. Our steaks were overdone. The manager came out and apologized - mind you we did not make a fuss or ask for anything. It wasn't the poor waitresses fault. Anyway, without asking we had free dessert and were only charged for one of our meals. I would go back again though.

We've eaten here a few times, and thought it was pretty good! I've had the ribs and they were really good! DD loved watching the monorail go by and she'd wave to everybody! We didn't find it noisy from Chef Mickeys.

We may try it for lunch on our trip in Oct!!
