Concourse Steakhouse? (Contemporary)

We loved Concourse steakhouse, and I personally prefered over Le Cellier at Epcot. One of our favorite meals. I had the ribs, add on shirmp, sesame wings, and cheekcake all was delecious. Sister had the fillet mignon, shirmp cocktail, and add on shirmp as well. Maybe I am the wierd one, but it was one of my favorite restuarant out of all the ones we tried. Which were Le Cellier, Le Chef de France, L'Orignale Alfredo di Roma, Japan's TS, Wolfgang Puck, Fulton Crabhouse, Crystal Palace, Mama Rosa( not sure in MGM)

DW and I enjoyed the restaurant. On dining plan we had Shrimp cocktail, filet (mashed potato for me, baked for DW). DW had creme brulee and I had Cheesecake. If DD had been awake she would have like the painters pallet and chicken fingers. We took her to Chef Mickeys two nights later and loved the atmosphere, food, and monorail. Hope you enjoy CS as much as we did.

I enjoyed Concourse Steakhouse - my DH liked it as well. We both had the New York Strip - it was very good - and my DH normally doesn't like steak that has a sauce poured on it - but this was very good and he really liked it!!

Do NOT drop ADR's at Le Cellier for Concourse Steak House. No comparison between the two.

Concourse might be a good choice for a quick meal before doing things in the MK, but it is not a dining "destination". Le Cellier is.

When we went in Aug 2003, our DDs were 22 month2 and 4 1/2 yrs. Here is what I posted about it then:

Dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse (second best meal of trip): DH had the special which was a sesame encrusted tuna steak with wasabi aioli. He said it was delicious! I had the filet, which I literally cut with a butter knife! DD1 had the PB&J on rainbow brad and DD2 had the hot dog. Both DDs had the artist’s pallet for dessert (Mickey head sugar cookie that could be decorated with frosting and sprinkles) while DH and I split a Crème Brulee (one of my all time faves).

What made this meal so good for us was the server (I wish I could remember her name) and pacing. Our server brought out DDs' meals first. Right as we got them settled (everything cut up, etc), out came my and DH's entrees. About the time DDs started getting restless, our server offered them dessert which they LOVED! By the time they were finished painting and eating their cookies, DH and I were done with our entrees, and we ordered dessert to go (we were staying at the CR that trip). We never felt rushed, and the girls loved having the monorail whizzing by over our heads.

I have eaten there a few times always have been excellent meals. :Pinkbounc
