Concourse...good choice for dining plan?

I've read many mixed reviews for Concourse so I'm a bit nervous. We are staying at the WL and are already going to be eating at Whispering Canyon and doing the Hoop dee doo. I already have ps for Concourse but am willing to change if it's not worth it. I need a place kid friendly and that works with the dining plan. Resort hopping would be ok because we have a car. Thanks!!

It was a little loud when we were there but nice. If you want a real nice restaurant that is kid friendly how about Cinderella's Royal Castle? Schedule PS 45 to an hour before the fireworks are about to start and ask for a window seat.

Another nice place for kids is Ohana's but the food wasn't my favorite by any chance.

If you go to Boma's you can go early and check out the animals.

We like it, it is a good choice for Con when you don't want Cheif Mickey, and not up to Cal Grill (I love that palce, but for me it is more a special occasion.)

DD liked the monorail going though the resort and the food was good. Kind of over priced, but not for WDW.

The nice thing is you can take a boat there from WL. Becareful the last one stops at 10:00 (or sooner depending on the time of year) and if it is full you can end up walking back to MK to get a boat from there. We weren't happy about that. (with a bunch of kids who were alseep in the stroller.) Buses run until the last person is picked up, not this boat.

IT's good for a no-fuss meal, away from the madness of Chef Mickey's and the California Grill. The boat ride from WL is beautiful at night. The last boat leaves at 10 pm, but no worries: you can take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to the WL/Ft Wilderness bus (the only resort bus serving the TTC). You won't need to visit the MK at all.

I think the Concourse is a great value if you have the MYW dining plan. The food is good (it is overpriced, but if you have the dining plan, who cares!).

In terms of quality and value, it is one of the better options on the plan.
