Hi

Anybody know the difference between the GF concierge main building and the deluxe concierge in the main building? they are around the same price but whats the difference?
Also anyone know if you book a honeymoon room, is the honeymoon room the same price as the turret hm room. I can't seem to find a price for the turret room.

Thanks

Sam

The difference between a standard main building concierge room and a deluxe main building concierge room is size. The deluxe room is larger. I have photos of a handicap-accessible deluxe room that I stayed in two years ago when I was confined to a wheelchair:

As to the Honeymoon Room vs. the turret version, if you have booked the Honeymoon Room, you may request a turret room. I don't believe you can book a turret room outright (if I am incorrect, others will chime in with the answer).

I hope that helped.

We have stayed in the Turret Room and it was incredible!! Probably my favorite room in more than 30 stays at WDW. It was, when we stayed there, considered a honeymoon suite.

Sam, about all I can add to Janets information is that the deluxe concierge rooms have an occupancy limit of 4 and that there are 2 different layouts. The corner deluxe units are a little bit bigger than the regular deluxe units.

Janet is correct on the turret suite situation. They are considered honeymoon suites, just like the 2nd floor. There are only 6 available and you can request one, but not book it outright. 3 of the units have panoramic views from the monorail around to the beach and the other 3 offer views of the Poly right around to the castle. We had a castle view turret suite up on the 5th floor two years ago and it was absolutely incredible.

I'm not home at the moment (actually celebrating my anniversary with DH and am logged into the hotels computer), but if you want, I have all the room layouts for the GF. I'd be happy to e-mail them to you if you'd like to compare. Just let me know.

TammiMcMan, I have a question regarding the Honeymoon Turret Rooms -- do any of them have a balcony?

I can answer that one Janet ...

No the turret room's do not have balconies. The views are so incredible from the oversized windows that we really didn't miss the balcony.

We are doing GF RPC in January. Part of me is hoping and dreaming for an upgrade to a turret room for Mom and I. They look like a fairy tale! So if anyone has any pixie dust for this wish to throw my way.....

Janet, I thought that I would miss having the balcony, but DisneyJen is right. Having all those windows and the incredible view more than made up for the lack of balcony.

Meezers, my DH and I got an upgrade and that's how we ended up in a turret room. We were there during a very slow time though. I'm sure anything can happen, but the bedding is only one king bed.

Thanks, folks, for the balcony answer. I'm glad to hear that it wasn't missed.
