I posted this on the restaurants board but maybe I should have posted it here. It's about concierge and priority seatings. We have stayed at the CR 12th floor in the past but never used concierge for priority seatings and we are going back in May. So I was wondering for anyone who has stayed in concierge, have you ever requested that concierge make priority seatings for you and they were unable to get them or have you always received what you asked for, even the hard to get PS?

My DW and I stayed at WL concierge in May. Randall (CM) handled all our PS requests. The hardest one we did was HDDR, which is not hard at all. They had no problem arranging our requests, although sometimes we had to switch times around.

As for CRT or Epcot Princess B'fast, they can only do what you do -- call early and call often. We didn't do either one (well the Epcot one wasn't even in existence in May!).

We leave TOMORROW for the Boardwalk Inn, and will be staying concierge for the first time.

One of the concierge people called us several weeks ago to see if he could help us with anything. Why, sure, we said. How about breakfast at Cinderella's Castle? We gave him a couple dates. And he got it for us! :D Happy, happy, joy, joy.

Since there were no other "e-ticket" meals planned, we made all the other PS arrangements ourselves.

I just looked at the clock and realized my plane takes off in just 24 hours.

How will I ever sleep tonight? :smooth:

We will be staying at the Poly concierge and they made all my PS's for us as well. Including CRT :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Its certainly worth the try. They are very helpful.

I know many like to make their own ps's, but I think that there is an advantage going through concierge. While checking in at 1900 Park Faire for our character breakfast, I noticed that the hostess pulled up our reservation on her computer terminal. I looked over her shoulder and saw that under comments we were listed as VIP's. I think that might have had something to do with the amazing seating that we got at all our reservations. For instance, first seating at CRT and the first table visited by all the the princess's and outdoor patio seating during Illuminations at the Rose and Crown. We've had nothing but good experiences with them.

Personally I would not stay at concierge. There isn't any real good food, just finger snacks (and of course you can't live off that)You also don't have to stay there to make priority seating you can do it from any where. Go ahead and do what you like it is your vacation.

Have a good time:bounce:! :bounce:! :bounce:!

We loved staying at the Poly Concierge. It was great and we found the food to more than adequate. We ate all of our breakfasts there and many of our evening meals as well. We figured it paid for itself. We ate our big meals at lunchtime at the parks. Our dinners would be from the Concierge down at the pool while the kids played. It worked out great.

We used the Concierge to make our PS and found it to be no problem. Not sure that we really had any difficult requests though.

JayCT - I completely agree! We stayed 5 nights at the Poly Concierge and ate dinner there 4 of the nights. It was more than enough for us.

I'm hopeful that the CR Concierge has similar offerings for our next trip in June!

I think it depends on who you ask .. but in *my* case, yes, we've always gotten what we requested for PS from the various concierge staffs. That's not a guaranteed perk, I guess because they don't want you to count on it .. but it's worked that way for us..

I really liked e-mailing the pre-planning folks. Each time we got to a PS window, I would have a new e-mail with my new ininarary in it. It made planning with other family members easy. I just forwarded, or cut and pasted into an e-mail with comments, suggestions and choices.

We had no desire to do CRT, can't help with that, but we got all our other requests done and the concierge staff joyfully made any chages that we needed.
