Concierge Level???

I'm a new addict to DISboards & resort hotels. I've seen a lot written here about the concierge level. What is it?

We just had our first resort hotel experience last month at the Disneyland Hotel. LOVED IT! I don't think we will ever stay off property again.

Each deluxe resort has an area designated as concierge service. Depending on the resort, it can be part of one floor (BWI) to whole buildings and more (Poly, GF).

Typically, the rooms are no different than the regular rooms (except for the suites). However, there is a lounge where breakfast and snacks are served, and there is a CM or two that can assist in making PS's, answer questions, handle other concerns, etc.)

MaryDMJJ, let me tell you it is addictive though!! Just like after you stay at the deluxe resorts, that's the only place you want to stay! We got a free upgrade from Hard Rock Hotel last year (2 rooms concierge) and it was so handy. We had 3 children with us and we always ate breakfast in the lounge and took water bottles to the park (included) and had snacks (beer there too, not at disney), wine and cheese. It spoiles yoou. Now this year we wated AKL concierge but couldn't justify the difference in the cost since we got a club discount for a deluxe savannah but not for concierge. I kind of wish we would of started with the value resorts and worked our way up!! Because of the way Disney did the cruise 3 years ago, we started with a deluxe right away and now that's the only ones my family want to do!!
