Did I see somewhere on here long ago that you could ask the concierge or hotel staff to check you in at the 24 hour mark on SW if you are not going to be around a computer? Or was that a really nice dream that I had?

We're debating whether to book SW or AirTran and there are just so many darn factors to consider, it's stressing me out! Bag fees, seat fees, resort check-in for return, 24-hour check-in for return flight......geeesh! I just wanna see Mickey!!

Yes, guest services at any park or concierge at the resorts can check you in at 24 hours. Note that you actually have to be there at the T-24 hour mark to ask them to do it. You can not leave it with them to do for you.

Another option on SWA is to pay for the Early Bird Check In. It is $10 per ticket. SWA will check you in at 36 hours. No need for you to be at a computer at 24 hours, you are already checked in. You can then print you boarding pass at the airport or after the 24 hour mark.

Just reiterating what has already been said! I've had no trouble getting the hotel staff to check us in or print boarding passes. I've never tried to do it in a park. Now I think I will just opt to pay for the EBCI for the return flight.

I've also left my reservation number with my niece who checked us in on her cell phone. When we got to the airport, we just printed our boarding passes. That worked out well since we weren't going to be near a computer that trip.

You can also do it at a park or Downtown Disney Guest Relations. In June I got my BP at City Hall at MK.

What the other PP's have said is spot on, I usually have someone 'back home' check me in, I usually have a couple of people do it, so I'm pretty sure it gets done on time. If one person is busy or forgets, good chance the other will remember, to be safe when I get a chance I usually hit a guest services area when I can and do it myself also. It doesnt change anything, ie: you dont lose whatever pass # you have if you 'check in' 2 times, or 3 or.. But I dont worry about it right AT t-24. And the new EBCI will probably get used on our next trip back from WDW so no one has to worry about it :)

Remember if you go through Kayak with AirTran there is no charge to pick your seats.

Don't get to the front of the line at T-24:01 and expect the CM will keep hitting refresh until your check in window opens. Use an internet enabled cell phone or draft a friend/relative if you want to try to check in at exactly T-24.

CMS check in for SW passengers on a daily basis. I suspect the SW check in page is bookmarked.

Until this last trip, I always relied on my mom to check us in from home. She never failed us and we always got A boarding passes. However, on this last trip to BWI, I paid for the EBCI and was quite happy with it. It also took the stress off of my mom for getting right on at 24 hours and getting us our boarding passes.

using EBCI last trip at Pop, Not only did we not have to stop our day to check in but our boarding passes were hanging on our door the morning of check out. Add that to resort check in and we were REALLY happy campers.:cool1:

BTW, if you do want to check yourself in, it can be done at Guest Services at every park.
