So I should request a room with a full balcony? We really want one so our boys can go to bed and we have somewhere to sit and relax for a while before going to bed ourselves. It's too bad when you play club level prices you are not guaranteed a balcony.

I asked this on the AKL board, but I think I'll ask it here too.

Does AKL Cl still have the Wii in the lounge. My boys would love this if we have some rainy days. We don't spend a lot of time in the parks anymore.:rolleyes1

I know the CL rooms at AKL are on the 4th floor, but are they reasonably close to the lobby or should I request it. I have heard about the 10 minutes walks to the lobby at this resort.:sad2:

We are also staying a BWI CL after the cruise. We have not stayed at this BWI CL level either. We have stayed at YC, BC, Poly and WL club levels. I loved WL and Poly. BC and YC were just ok. My favorite resort is YC, but I'm just not sure CL was worth it. How does BWI compare? Thanks

Hi Ofinn! I am staying BC CL for the first time. I was just curious as to what made the BC and YC club levels just okay in your opinion.

Thanks!:)

Do any club level rooms at the Boardwalk have a daybed? Checking in next Wednesday and want to know if I should put this in as a request.

We just returned from YC CL. Yesterday, I asked a CM if he could get me a beer. He said, "Just one?" And I replied, "Better make it two." He brought me two unopened bottles of beer to take back to my room.

Slightly related, one night during the dessert offerings, I asked for a couple of glasses of wine. I expected the CM to come out with two of those little wine glasses they have, but instead she brought out two styrofoam to-go cups that she had FILLED with wine. I told my husband I think we got the whole bottle in two cups. :lmao:

Thanks for posting your experience. That's funny about the wine.:rotfl:

I know they do have daybeds. We have a family of five so we will get one of those rooms (that's what we were told anyway). I would request if you don't have 5 in your family just in case.

Here is a couple pics from Poly CL lounge from April 2013 after remodel.

Love the pics trishadono.

The one with the wine and food looking out the window looks so nice. I could see myself sitting there for a long time.:)

You are killing me trishadono!!!!

I have been thinking that 2014 is the perfect time to finally stay Poly CL....we had been hesitant because we weren't too thrilled with the Poly decor and were waiting for a refurb. Well, the refurb came, but the DVC is coming too....and now with word that Neverland Club is closing in October....I'm thinking that we won't stay at the Poly...but then I see pics like this...what to do? what to do???:upsidedow

Another hypothetical CL question: If you had to choose between BWI CL (which we love) and Poly CL (we love Poly, but have not stayed CL there yet), which would you choose and why?

We've stayed at both and love both. For your purposes, I would stay at the Polynesian CL because 1) if you love the Polynesian, you're appreciation for it will only increase after staying CL and 2) you might as well experience something you haven't before.

The lounge is 2 stories so there is a lot of room, the second floor (of the lounge - 3rd floor of the bldg) is quieter, with games and comfy seating, a nice place to hang. Being able to watch the fireworks from the lounge and just the lovely view in general, is pretty great. The food offerings have an asian/island flair so that makes it a little different and enjoyable. The Hawaii building is in a great location.

For us we're back to the BWI for CL which we enjoyed immensely, but that has a lot to do with location. That said, it was a really tough choice this year.

Hope this helped as your posts over at the BC/YC thread have been invaluable to us. :)

We've never stayed at BWI and have only stayed GV at the Poly, but I would try Poly CL since you've never stayed CL there before. I have been reading some awesome things about Poly CL lately. If you like the Poly, I think trying CL is a good idea (especially since you've stayed BWI CL) :goodvibes.

We have stayed at YC, BC, Poly and WL club levels. I loved WL and Poly.

How would you compare WL CL to Poly CL? We have stayed CL at the WL and GF (both RPC & SL). RPC is my favorite, but WL CL runs a very close second (didn't care for SL). We are trying Poly CL in December and I am very excited, but a little part of me is wondering how it will compare to the WL and GF :rolleyes1.

I think all rooms at BWI have daybeds, but I'm not 100% sure. We've never stayed at BWI, but after researching it for a future stay, it seems to me that all rooms have one. But I agree with the pp that I would put a request in for a daybed just in case :).

Pics like this is making it very hard for me to wait until December :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Have you thought about GF? We've stayed both SL and RPC and RPC is amazing :cloud9:. SL was nice to try, but I didn't care for it and would rather stay GV if I wasn't able to do RPC.

Just curious why did you like poly CL more then bc/YC CL? Thanks :)

Hi Ofinn! I am staying BC CL for the first time. I was just curious as to what made the BC and YC club levels just okay in your opinion.

Thanks!:)

The lounges are small. The food was just ok, and the display was just so-so. There was just no "Wow" factor for me at all. I do think I liked the BC CL better than YC. The cm's were friendlier and it had a more relaxed feel. YC was a little stuffy with a lot of convention people there.

I'm sure in the future I'll be staying club level at one of these resorts again because it is difficult to get a SV or GV room with a discount. Our upcoming trip I had a choice between YC LV or SV CL. I decided to give BWI a try.

Really, what haven't I considered??? :lmao:

But yes, GF is kind of my "back up plan" at this time, but I was thinking Sugarloaf...what didn't you like about it???

My video of the lounge will not upload so I took some screen shots of it instead. Not the best quality but... All I have.
