Concierge/Club Level Information - Part III (October 2010)

Yeah, that's the standard response whether CL or not.

Which Poly IPO CM responded to you? Just curious, as I'm tempted to ask for delivery of champagne and flutes. The response I got previously was to ask Disney Florists. Chilled champagne and flutes in the room seems such a simple thing, I'm loathe to have to get another company involved especially if it can be handled "in house".

Brittany was the CM that responded to my email. She did mention Disney Florist for anything else but didn't say where the strawberries would be coming from. I'm assuming it's something in-house but I'm not sure? :confused3
 
I spend alot of time reading the different threads about Disney. This is probably only the second or third time that I post a question. My family and I are going to Disney during the latter part of June. This is the first time that we are going to be staying Club Level at the Contemporary with the Dining Plan. :yay: I was wondering if someone could tell me what they serve for breakfast in the morning (types of cereal, cheeses, etc.). I have a severe allergy to soy and I am not sure whether I am going to have to bring some of my own food (cereal, etc.) so that I will be able to eat in the morning. popcorn::

Here is a picture of the Cereal they have each morning which was Cherrios, Rasin Bran, Fruit Loops and Corn Flakes.

Besides that they also offer Bagles, Pastries, Fruit and Yogurt. They don't offer Cheese until 5:00 PM with their hot food offerings, although then it's Cheader and some other types like Brie and maybe some other types. If it helps here is a picture of their various Cheese and their other breakfast items.

We are staying AKV CL in October. I never received an email from IPO so yesterday I emailed them my 5 ADR's that I would like them to try to make for me on Mon. Two of them needed a CC so I called about 1.5 hours after I sent the email to give them the number. She asked for our confirmation number, reservation name, then all of the card info. I didn't have any other questions at the time so ended the call. However, I only received the generic reply back to my email; should I be concerned I haven't received a more specific reply back?
 
Hi all! Getting really close to our trip now!!! Question??? I think I read at some point that if you are staying club level it is best to NOT do online check-in. Is this still true? We are staying at the Poly if that makes a difference.

When you pull up in front of the Poly, a CM will take your name and someone will walk with you or drive in the golf cart to the Hawaii building where you check in. We have stayed Cl at the Poly many times and have not done online check in. Our stuff has always been ready and CL check in has been a breeze.

You have no need to be concerned. :) They usually get back to you by the next day. You get a generic reply so you know that they have received your email. You get that every time you email them. At least, that is from my experience with CR IPO. I think it depends on the time of day. Two of the emails I have sent gotten replied to the next and one was replied to the same day. I would give it another day or two before you should get concerned. Hope this helps! :goodvibes
 
I am not sure if this is some kind of record but after e-mailing the Boardwalk Inn IPO around an hour ago about our request for a room on the 4th floor close to the lounge, Zoila just e-mailed us saying how the request is in their system and they will do the best to accomodate it. She also mentioned how it's not guaranteed which I obviously already knew.

would you be kind enough to share the BWI IPO's email addy... we are staying there (deluxe room CL also!) this november and i have not been contacted yet... i want to get the ball rolling!!
 
On Thursday, I sent an email to AKL CL just to introduce myself & immediately I got a general reply back. Then the next day I got a LONG email w/the form that I need to fill out.

I didn't get that long email and I did the same thing 2 days ago. We're only staying for one night CL so I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not??
..what types of things were included in the form???
 
It had a whole introduction to AKL section. The the form requesting info takes up alot, w/descriptions of the safaris as well. Then ADR requests, a description of the lounge offerings/times, kids club, special shows. A list of websites to find other info, like Disney Florist. Then there's an ending paragraph w/the IPO contact info.
 
Me and my DH will be staying at YC-GD Club, this is our first stay in a club room category. We were just wondering what some of the better food offerings were here. The YC doesn't seem to get discussed as much as some of the other resorts. I am alergic to shellfish, will there be hot entre offerings in the evenings that I will be able to eat?
 
I got the form from IPO this morning and I'm assuming I can either fax it or email it back.

What do you normally do..fax or email it back???

There are always delicious rolls, PB&J and a yummy fruit tray. There were also apples and caramel and veggies galore. I remember them having a lobster salad, but you would probably not be able to eat that due to your allergy. Also, there was a caprese style salad one evening and spring rolls. I'm sure you will find plenty of things to eat that will be to your liking. :goodvibes

For whatever reason when they e-mailed us after filling out the IPO form, the e-mails from the BWI IPO were sent from the Yacht & Beach Club Itinerary Planning e-mail address. Now they handle Club Level requests for all the Epcot Resorts which we knew about and the subject line of their e-mails had our last name, Boardwalk Inn Guest 08/17 - 08/31 and our confirmation number.
