Here's what I remember from our stay last summer:

Breakfast: bagels, croissants, bread for toast, pastries, specialty breads, mini muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cut up fruit, whole fruit, cereal, juices, coffee, tea etc.

Snacks: yogurt covered pretzels, delicious home made chips and dip, gummy works or sharks, cookies, soda, lemonade, coffee, tea, etc.

Evening appetizers: cheese and crackers, vegetable and dip, peanut butter and jelly cups, small soft rolls, rye bread with tomato pesto dip, 2 hot appetizers (such as: bacon wrapped scallops, crab ragoons, chicken skewers, duck quesedillas, pot stickers) cold salad such as lobster salad and cole risotto salad. Assorted soft drinks, wine, beer and cordials.

Desserts: usually three or more assorted mini desserts and cookies. Assorted soft drinks and cordials.

If you look on the YC/BC thread there are some pictures of the cl offerings.

We love BC CL - so much that we're booked again in July. This will be our 4th BC CL stay!

We stayed CL at BC two weeks ago and the offerings were still the same. They never ran out of anything but they were very timely with closing the service per the schedule.

I guess they aren't doing the 24 hours open trial anymore?? Also...do they still have oatmeal in the AM??? That's my main staple for morning breakfast :goodvibes

CR Fan, I thought it was even less than that- like 6

That being said, if anyone can snag one, I HIGHLY recommend them :thumbsup2 If was WAY bigger than, say, the lodge tower room at the GF.

I thought there were 10 or 12? :confused3 I seem to remember a post last year saying there were an equal number on the 3rd and 4th floors, I've got 10 or 12 in my head?
Well I guess the only way to find out the answer is to ask them again when I am back there this August.

I also agree that if anyone is thinking of reserving one and see's it available then they should take it.

Yay! My CL trip is getting closer. I got an email yesterday from IPO with the link to put in my requests. My 180 day point is next week so now I need my niece to decide which character meal she wants to do. :goodvibes

Can anyone confirm that the Sunrise Safari breakfast is now held at Tusker House and not Pizzafari?

When Tusker House was counter service the safari breakfast was there. Now that Tusker House is table service the safari breakfast is at Pizzafari. It was there when I went in May 09 and Jan 10. It was in a back room and they had a nice set up and curtain on the doorway.

Thank you for your quick response. Was the menu still similar to this one listed here (and pasted below) and would you recommend the SS? Thanks!

MENU includes…

Assorted cream cheeses, jams, jellies, and fruit chutneys, yoghurt station, fresh fruit, milk, waffle station, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato wedges, cereal, frittatas, corn beef hash, beef Bobotie quiche, lamb casserole, carved ham, oatmeal, porridge, cinnamon rolls, assorted muffins and breads, turnovers, Danish pastries and croissants.

Definitely is called Amarula...I'm staring at a bottle of it right now and have made a point to have a never ending supply of it in my kitchen cupboard ever since we returned from the Poly CL. No more Baileys for us!

It is at Pizzafari, I took it in October 10, and have pictures on my TR starting on Page 13... link in my siggie

I thought that I had read somewhere that the new Poly CL chef was trying out some new dishes in the lounge. Is this true? I have read so much these past couple of weeks planning this trip that I can't remember where I could have read it. Anyone know anything about this?

I sent a gift off to the CL staff that has been helping me and also the manager who went out of his way. I made sure to ask if there were any allergies, and then sent off some goodies from a favorite shop here that does cheeses, nuts, etc. I sent it before we arrived, but I added a nice card to it. I hope they all enjoy it.

My mom has had a rough year, so I am now taking her on vacation with my family. Anyway, we are staying at the YC CL and she is lactose intolerant. Will they have food/drink offerings she can eat?

Thanks!

We arranged for lactose free milk in the lounge at BC in December. Each morning and evening as needed, we just asked a CL CM for it and they brought it right out. Was great for DH and the children of my friends. I would say most options in the BC lounge were lactose friendly except of course for the cheese!

We are going in May, so I think I will make a call and let them know she is lactose intolerant.

We did the same thing, just ask for Lactaid if you set it up before hand and they will have it in the prep area.

We loved the BC Club level, doing it again next year!!!

We are staying CR CL in August. We just changed our flight to a 630pm departure. How long on our check out day will we be able to use the ammenities at CR and at CL?

You can use the ammenities until midnight on your check-out date.

Your Key To The World cards will expire at 12:00 AM on your check-out day, so you can still insert them into the elevator to access the 12th floor or 14th floor depending on which specific Club Level reservation you have.
