Well, I just relinquished my control over our ADRs this morning. DH faxed over our papers & within minutes I got an email stating they got them & for me to call with cc info! A real email from an actual person not the standard email. I called with the cc. I feel good...I think. The CM said they would contact me within 24-48 hrs of my 180 day mark. Ok, now I just wait. UHG!!!!

The first time you "let go" of ADR control is difficult...but it gets easier and easier!

Good for you! I couldn't do it, I just made my own today, I just wasn't ready.

Poly IPO made all my adr's this time and I got everything I wanted at the times I wanted. I even added one yesterday (I'm at 115 days). I tried to book it on my own via online but I could not get the time I wanted via the online reservation system. However, I email the Poly IPO and they got the exact time I wanted. The IPO's have access to tables the online and phone reservation systems do not.

How far ahead should you fax your ADRs? I received the form, but my 180 days is 3 weeks away. If I do it too early, will they put it aside? (Then there's a chance it will be misplaced.)

I would go ahead and send them to your IPO. Then the day before your 180 days call and make sure they have them and that they will be booking for you the next day.

I'm considering booking Club Level for our trip this October (assuming I can talk DH into going this fall ) It'll be our first time at CR and our first time at CL. I'm worried about allergies though. DD is allergic to peanuts. Has anyone with a peanut allergy stayed at CL? If she's unable to eat breakfast and some snacks, there's really no point in paying extra for CL. Anyone with allergy experiences?

We don't have anyone in our family with food allergies, however from what I read if you tell the Contemporary IPO Cast Members ahead of time and tell the Club Level Cast Members working there, they will be able to help you out and etc.

How allergeric is she? i.e. can there be peanuts in the room? I'm asking because when I stayed at AKL/V CL a couple of years ago, I noticed that they had the Smuckers PB&J sandwiches out in the evening. For me it was a positive in case I was going to take my niece (which I will be in August). However, for you that could be an issue.

So I am going skim back through the pages but I wanted to get a Idea about how AK cl Is. I am not Into diffrent foods for say, I am a very cow,pig,chicken person so exotic foods kind of scare me away. Thats one of the reasons a have stay away from AK,I know not a good reason but I did. I Wondering what kind of apps they serve In the CL?

My niece has a peanut/tree nut allergy. She's stayed at Poly CL several times with no issues. She's not drastically allergic though, she just can't eat it. The PB&J Uncrustables are still in wrappers so they weren't an issue. Other then that, we just asked the chef/servers if there was any doubt that there might be nuts in something.

Has anyone ever been able to use an AP discount for the WL CL? We were not able to secure one last year and this January we went with YC (which was wonderful) due to the same reasons. I am taking my mother in December to see the Christmas decorations and was hoping for the WL.

Glad to hear that others are apprehensive about giving up control of their ADR's - this will be my first time doing that and I'm mildly anxious about it. I keep telling myself that I can stalk the website for ressies myself if they can't get what I want, though. Only a couple more days until my 180 mark.

We've booked WL w/ AP's before but have never been able to in December (have tried the last 2 years). I always figured that it was because at Christmas time WL is more popular. So by the time AP rates come out it may not need to fill those types of rooms. Not sure if that is the reason or not though.

The Uncrustables at AKL CL were open and sliced in half on a platter when were were there in '09. If my child was really sensitive to peanuts I might be a little nervous.

Thanks for the info re peanuts. DD's last encounter with peanuts resulted in swollen face and vomitting. It lead to her diagnosis. I won't take a chance on cross contamination. Before we book CL, I'll call. Its possible that if they know one of their clients is allergic, they may refrain from doing things like that, especially if its not necessary. Still makes me nervous though.... I'll have to call.

The app are prepared by the Jiko restaurant and can be exotic, we really enjoyed them but if you are not into that you might not have much to choose from except the different cheese and crackers. My TR from last year has a lot of pictures of the food from the CL lounge in it and you can see what they offer.
