Yes, Club Level closes at 10pm, so you'd need to check-in at the front desk after that time. If you do a non-club level room, the next morning you would have to go down to the Club Level check-in/greeting area and they will escort you up to the 6th floor so that you can check-into your room for the remainder of your stay. You cannot just go up there though without an escort. You can't get the breakfast until or during check-in of your next room from what I understand.
But, I think you'll be able to get breakfast first thing in the morning when they open for check-in at club level. I think breakfast starts at 6:30 coffee, and 7:00am for the food/juices, etc.
Oh - here is part of the IPO email that I got last month regarding check-in - hope it helps!!!
"Let me just take a moment to touch base with you about our check in
procedure. If you arrive before 5 p.m look for the cast member at the
Kilimanjaro Club check in podium just to the left of the front entrance.
If you arrive after 5 p.m but before 10 p.m. you will need to enter the
lobby and turn left to the Bell Services desk and they will assist you.
Either way, there will be no need for you to wait in line at the Front
Desk. If you are arriving after 10:00 p.m.you will have to check in
briefly with the Front Desk. Please be sure to stop by the Kilimanjaro
Club desk in the morning before you head out so we can make sure we have
your reservation in order regarding charging privileges and tickets."
Quick question, in general, do club levels have more or less kids running around?
We'll there are kids everywhere at WDW resorts
I can tell you from my CL visits at the PR, AKL, GF-SL and BWI and I'd say the PR had more kids. I'm not sure if they have more CL rooms at the Polynesian and that is why there were always more kids or if it's just a great family resort?
Thanks for your response and we can just take some Sprite Zero cans from the Contemporary lounge before we arrive at the Boardwalk since I know they have it there. They had Sprite out but not Sprite Zero- call ahead and tell them that's your drink of choice and I bet they'll have some for you! Good luck and have a great time. I would love to try the contemporary sometime.
We have only stayed Club Level at the Contemporary and Polynesian, so going by my memory I would say the Polynesian lounge had more kids. However I am basing that answer because their lounge was a lot bigger, because I always see kids at the Contemporary.Quick question, in general, do club levels have more or less kids running around?

WL had a bunch of kids last week when we were there. And they were literally running around - w/o supervision. One afternoon my son and husband were at the pool and I was trying to relax, read the newspaper and enjoy my capuccino and there were preteen girls (5 of them) running back and forth, back and forth from their rooms to the lounge and back...then up and down the elevator, etc...
On our last night, one of the CM's (Andrew) came to me and told me that he wanted to leave a special gift in our room for our son because he was one of the politest children they had had on CL floor! He wanted to know our room number and if it was ok. I told him sure and was a little choked up.My son was sooo excited when we got back that evening to find the gift that was left for him - a pail & shovel that was full of wonderful goodies! He went to find Andrew and thank him! I said something to one of the CM's one afternoon about all the kids running around unsupervised and she said "well, it's Disney!" So I guess it can happen at any resort and at any level of service...

Well I know in the Contemporary Atrium Club lounge the Cast Members turn on both TV's to the channel's that play the music for the fireworks, along with playing the music on the lounge balcony.Wondering if this is common. Last year we enjoyed fireworks from the Poly lounge or at least tried to.
One night other adults in the lounge (parents??) and young children (3 or 4 years). The kids were watch TV and it was on loud. I didn't care except when the fireworks music was piped in. The TV stayed on loud and we couldn't hear at all. I was annoyed, but enjoyed the fireworks anyway.
Another night we went to the lounge to watch fireworks. The same folks are there with the kids and the loud TV. I was really tempted to ask them to turn it down but didn't want a confrontation. We went out to the beach instead.
Anyone else have this issue? Is is a common problem or just a odd situation for us. And/or how would you handle it. Ask the adults (not sure if they are the parents but seems logical) to have their kids turn it down or just go out to the beach or other?
I don't know anything about the summer fireworks show, but I assume it has some music and some type of story.

The card is yellow instead of blue. Most of the CMs in the shops at the parks didn't know it was for CL. A lot of them remarked how they liked it better than the regular ones.
If you have stayed at a WDW Resort before and got a blue card, the gold cards are the exact same design and etc. The only difference is their colour.Anyone have a photo they could share of the yellow card?
Talked to IPO at GF yesterday. I have asked for bday buttons and character washcloths waiting for us in our room upon arrival. I hope everything turns out ok.
I do have a question re: bottled water. I understand that they have only the large bottles, but are you allowed to fill up your own water bottles in the lounge. We have insulated metal ones for the parks and we like to have them cold when we leave the resort.
Thanks!
Yes you can!Might be more convenient for your family though if you just ask the Lounge CMs for a bottle or 2 for your room.
