Concierge cabana booking request date

In concierge, we have always been lucky enough to get one but it is not always one that we requested. We have learned to just get one anywhere on the family beach and be happy. Its going to be a lot tougher on the Wish.

Which one(s) would you recommend requesting? We're doing our first concierge cruise in January, so this is new to us.

We've had Cabanas 18 and 19 and thought they were great. Most people I have heard make recommendations say to get the lower numbers. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong!

On a related note, how hard will it be to get a cabana at Serenity Bay? I know there are fewer options, but I'm hoping that there is also less demand.

Totally agree. We've had 7, but really any cabana would be great.

We’re big fans of the middle-ish cabanas….8,9,10. Close enough to restaurant/bathroom but not too far…and you’re still on the main beach side…not the lagoon type area.

As many others have said, we are happy with any one. A day in what someone would say is the worst cabana is better than being down on the regular beach with thousands of people surrounding you with no sense of personal space. The quiet calmness of the private beach at the Cabanas is definitely one of the things we most enjoy.

Your request goes out at 125 days, not 130. At 130 days Concierge will email you and then you can start asking questions, etc.

You will find out at 120 days out when activities are available to book. When you log in to your account all your requested activities will have been booked. If you got a cabana it will be in your plans.

I will say that I have never booked concierge and have had a cabana on the last 3 cruises that I was on booking as a Platinum castaway member 120 days in advance at 12:01 am ET.

I think there is less demand for those on sailings that are family-heavy, such as during holidays. We only sail during major school holidays, and I've seen Serenity Bay cabanas available a few times in the past several years as a silver and then gold CC member (but they haven't been available every time I've looked). I have never seen a Family Beach Cabana available, and I always check right at midnight. I've heard on these boards that Serenity Bay cabanas can be about as hard to get as Family Beach Cabanas during low season when school is in & cruises are cheaper, which is when a lot of childless adults cruise. But I can't verify that as I've never sailed during low season.

Does anyone know how cabana priority works when there are more Concierge rooms than actual Castaway Cay cabanas? I'm assuming they'll prioritize based on your stateroom category but didn't know if it's Castaway status (since all Concierge are at 130 mark) or when you submit your request i.e. first come first serve.

Not the PP, but I was able to get a Family Cabana as a Gold when my booking window opened. It was a January 2018 cruise on the Dream.
