Hi all,

We just booked out 1st Concierge room setting sale on Oct 1st and the biggest reason to book the Concierge room was to be able to get a cabana on Castaway Cay. From what I am reading we need to send an email to request the port adventures that we want. My question is, when do I need to send this email? Our PIF date shows June 3 so do I sent the email at midnight on June 3 or is it 5 days before that which would be May 29 if my math is correct? Also, we booked through Dreams Unlimited so does my agent have to send this email or do I?

thanks in advance for your help!!!

In my experience, we emailed as soon as we had any plans in mind. Even if they couldn't officially book anything yet, they kept our requests on file. I would go ahead and email them with your request and if they can't accept it yet, they will give you a date to email back! They have always kept our requests on file and then we sent an additional email relaying the request again once our booking window opened.

We have never used a travel agent, but I would think sending this email yourself will be much faster and allow you to communicate all of your requests effectively.

You'll get a call and email from Shoreside Concierge with more info 130 days before your sail date. You'll want to send your email at midnight on May 29th (125 days) if your math is correct.

Youtube Yensid? If so, love your construction update videos...

Shoreside should send you an email 130 days out. Assuming your sail date is 10/1/2021 that would be 5/24/2021. You would want to send your request at 12:00 AM (eastern) on 5/29. Adjust for your timezone. I'm in CA so I would email my request precisely at 9:00 PM on 5/28/2021.

We are in concierge sailing on 9/25 - can't wait to get back to sailing!

Does anyone know how cabana priority works when there are more Concierge rooms than actual Castaway Cay cabanas? I'm assuming they'll prioritize based on your stateroom category but didn't know if it's Castaway status (since all Concierge are at 130 mark) or when you submit your request i.e. first come first serve.

We don't yet but a lot of people are wondering....
I know it's quite a bit of difference on the Wish but even on the Wonder, there are 13 more Concierge staterooms than family beach cabanas, and 20 more on the Dream so I'd think there's already a process established. This is one of the small reasons I'm going to possibly forgo a Concierge stateroom on Wednesday and opt for just a standard stateroom.

There’s already more rooms than cabanas on the other ships. I’ve been told by shoreside when we’ve sailed concierge that it’s first come, first serve based on when your email comes in ....but as was brought up in another thread....I think they hold back one or two for VIPs and/or those in higher concierge room classes (ie royal suites)

Thank you for the response. That's exactly what they told me this morning - based on the time stamp - when I asked the agent this morning (except for the holding back part which I would guess, too).

If it's any consolation, I definitely remember just recently (with in the past 2 weeks) seeing a article where they're adding 2 more beach cabanas on CC, with plans to possibly add 4 more over time. Maybe that will help? Good Luck!

Email time is key. If you use gmail there is a "send later" option where you can tell it what time to send. I did some tests and it will send at exactly the time requested.

Serenity Bay. Read the same on Scott's blog.

I will say that I have never booked concierge and have had a cabana on the last 3 cruises that I was on booking as a Platinum castaway member 120 days in advance at 12:01 am ET. There have always been a couple remaining for Platinums but gone by morning. So not everyone that books concierge wants a cabana. I would imagine many on the Wish may elect to stay on board and enjoy the amenities. I know that is my families plan. Aqua mouse for instance

I've not been able to book a cabana as Platinum for at least 5 years - it used to be a few were left at midnight but I think that is a thing of the past. I've only had a cabana the past 5 years when sailing concierge.

In concierge, we have always been lucky enough to get one but it is not always one that we requested. We have learned to just get one anywhere on the family beach and be happy. Its going to be a lot tougher on the Wish.

sending the email--do I have to do it at midnight on the date given by concierge? Or can I send it ahead of time and they will just hold it? This thread has conflicting advice.
