Concierge at the Contemporary

For our 7 night trip July 13-20 we will be staying on the 12th floor
at the Contemporary (Tower Club). Little more than week ago we took the rest of our money to our travel agent to send to Disney. How long will it be before we get any corespondance from Disney? At what point would it be alright to contact the Concierge to help us with PS and some other things we would like to do? We are new to this leval of service and do not know what to expect. Thanks.

I imagine it would be best to contact the concierge yourself as soon as possible. Although they can sometimes work miracles on PSs, the number of tables is still finite. Go ahead and call the hotel directly and ask to speak to the concierge.

I booked AKL conceirge thru DVC and called the next day. They didn't have me in their system yet, but the concierge took my number, tracked down my info and called me back within half an hour. Then she spent almost 45 minutes on the phone with me (with Disney picking up the long-distance charges since she had to call me -- Hooray!), discussing what PSs we wanted, if we were celebrating anything special on the trip, when we would be arriving, and many other details.

It can't hurt to give them a call. That's why you are paying the big bucks!
 
Just spoke to concierge at the Contemporary. They have our reservations in sytem. Asked a lot question and got a lot of answers. The concierge was very nice helpful. We can't wait for our trip.
