Since we do not have to pick an arrival time, what is the best time to get there in the morning. We are driving in from South Florida. Thank you!
I didn't think the port opened until 10:30.?I'm also interested in this. From the pictures I've seen the port is pretty crowded just to get in at 10:00. Is there a long wait, my son is special needs and I'm trying to figure out what time to show up. Also concierge. Ty
I didn't know what time it opened. First time cruiser here. I use these boards to plan things out. I don't post on here often but read all the time. Don't recall reading this topic. I love to read what all you vets have to say. It's actually the best research you can get!I didn't think the port opened until 10:30.?

We like to get to Concierge early enough to board with the first group, because if you don't you might not get into the lounge upon arrival and instead will have to find some place to land for a while. We were almost turned away when we got there about 12:00, and only got in because a couple was leaving as we were arriving. The officer outside the door got so far as to say, "I'm sorry. The lounge is full. You can go to Caban... Oh. Somebody's leaving. Please come on in." The couple behind us was turned away because there were too many people in the lounge once we entered.
Of course, this is assuming you're on a Dream class ship, which has a Concierge lounge.
This is exactly what happened to us on Thursday. We got on the boat and went to the Concierge lounge and were told to go drop our stuff off at the room because the lounge was currently full. We came back like 10 minutes later and got in though.
