Conch salad

We will be cruising this August on the Western version and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they had or know a good place to have Conch Salad ? Conch Fritters would be okay, but we would prefer a Conch Salad... Thanks

I agree that the half shell is pretty good place to eat tho be informed that it has been against the law for any conchs to be taken from any of the waters anywhere in the states for that matter - all the conchs are imported in including the 2 legged ones -all silly sat aside, the imported conchs aren't bad - Norm and I go into Bahama Village and there is a little grocery store that has some fine conchs - unfortunalty can't share that tidbit with you - When Norm and I went to the Bahamas, he and I sat beside the ships and had a fresh conch salad - at least it is coming right out of the water and into your salad.

Head over to Bo's fish market...a site to see in itself. Great fresh fish/conchs. Very nice people.
