Concerns about a late PS

I just made a ps for Chef Mickey and I had to take the 8:30 pm time slot to accomodate our party of 8. I noticed that their hours are until 9:30 pm, has anybody else done this dinner at that late of an hour and if so did it work out ok? I'm concerned about food being fresh and also about being rushed out. Whats your opinion? Thanks

I've not eaten at CM late but we often eat late and have never felt rushed (even when dining inside a park at/after closing) and food has always been fresh.

I just got an 8:15 PS. I can't imagine they would rush you if they reserve you for that time. I would think they just stop serving new customers at 9:30. Otherwise, why would they reserve it for so late?

If you want my opinion, here it is. We have eaten at CM several times, often early and never a problem. Well last year we could not get an early seating and had to do it late. While I never felt rushed, the buffet area seemed to be a diaster and they had problems keeping the food coming and filled. We swore off ever doing a late seating and always call 160 days out now to get the first seating. Nothing beats the first seating. Hope I didn't disappoint anyone and it has been a year since our late visit, so maybe it was that one particular night.
