We haven't use it yet, but we love the idea of the express bus. Mostly because it save steps for us. The hike form AK buses to safari must be 10 -12 miles (at least it feels that way).
Right now we are booked at 10 days at BLT in Dec. We usually do a split stay and go to the parks closest to the resort. Now I'm thinking of staying at BLT and using the express bus would be almost as good. Would we be able to bus back to MK even if a party has started? I'm thinking not, and there is a party at MK 5 out of the 9 nights. Our hopping days would have to be planned according. I could see us taking a slow morning, going into MK, hop over to whatever park and be ready to hop back and go back to resort around 7 or 8. With going thru MK, we would have the monorail, enter the park, get wheelchair, use express bus and then reverse. I think this method entails less walking for DH than dropping off wheelchair and walking for buses.
DH doesn't want to get a wheel chair for full time use at disney, because of dealing with transportation. He can walk, grocery store type distance, just not disney distance.
