Everything was working OK last night but this morning I can't use the Flash player. I tried to follow the instructions on Adobe by uninstalling the one I have and then reinstalling it again but the re-installation is not working so now I have NO player at all.

I still have IE6 and have been hesitant about putting the new version in due to some less than enthusiastic reports.

Any input on how to fix this would be most appreciated. :flower3:

try turning off any antivirus programs that are running. They will sometimes have an icon in the lower right corner. With norton, right click on that icon > choose disable > then it gives you the option of choosing how long to disable.

Recently I have had more problems installing while norton is running. Sometimes I get a popup that says "adobe xxxx is attempting to access the internet, allow?" That is fine but sometimes that popup is a pop-under. It is behind all the currently open windows, so I can not see it and I sit and sit and wonder why the install is not moving along.
