Apparently I have picked up something, have installed both a Spyware and Adware software and my browser is still freezing up for minutes at a time.. Very confused, what else can I do?

Not trying to ask a dumb question, but could your internet service provider be having problems? How long have you had this problem?

I'd back up your hard drive as soon as possible. Have you run a virus scan recently? You could also try Norton's One Button Checkup.

Seems to be doing better now... I have McAfee anti-virus and firewall and installed a few adware/spyware and ran scans, deleted a few files.. Keep my fingers crossed!!
