How cool!! I just bought a 2005 Honda Accord EX-L too! Well, I got him on January 20th, so I still consider him brand new. He had 3 miles on the odometer when we took him for a test drive. :sunny:

What color did you get? Mine is a satin silver coupe. :flower:

ME too! Satin silver, with black leather. Only mine is the sedan.

The first pics are here... this was before the dealer detailed it and removed the sticker stuff... (apparently, since I took a full hour to negotiate off the $500 dealer paperwork fee, the detailer had gone home... on a side note, that paperwork fee is ridiculous.)

Hey, mine has black leather, too! Very cool. Does yours have seat heaters, also? I think they come with the leather interior. Sure is nice on a cold morning. :goodvibes

Your car is gorgeous! I just love these cars. This is my second Honda; I traded in my Odyssey on this one. I was tired of driving a minivan and I wanted better gas mileage.

Yep, they gouge you on the paperwork fee. :earseek:

Tyler..that's great news...I'll be looking foward to seeing it/ or you !!! :cool1:

Our next trip MArch20-30 any idea what route you will be working? You are not still in a resort right? PM me!!

Congratulations Tyler!!! You are so nice and helpful to everyone around here! Appreciate everything you do!! Enjoy!

Mine no longer new but it is a Silver Honda CRV(2003) with leather seats. Also with heated seats (great on those winter mornings) and a moon roof.

Congrats Tyler on your new purchase.

Tyler dude.....congrats and welcome to the HONDA family! I have a 2000 civic (love it!! ) and DH drives a 1991 civic with 252,000+ miles on it! (no, it's not a typo...his car has over a quarter million miles on it!!!) They are good, reliable cars...you can run them into the ground!! Take care of it, and it'll last you years and years! DH always said he'd never own an import---now we have 2 Hondas in our driveway!! :goodvibes

Congrats!!! My DH has the same car and he LOVES it!!! We are a family of Honda owners, his EX-L is our 4th Honda in the past 8 years.

Drive it in good health!!!

When I went to register it with my apartment complex, the girl mentioned the same thing, that everyone was buying new cars lately. We figured it out to be tax refund season! :)

It seems like you need an attorney to review the paperwork when buying a car, just like when buying a home. You do not want to drive the new car out of the dealership until the financing is approved, the lender is named, and the amount, time, and place for sending the payments is specified.

Car buyers have occasionally had a rude awakening in the form of financing denied then they have to come up with more down payment or pay a higher rate or take the car back paying $50. and day and fifty cents a mile.

Got my first car after graduating from college, it was a full size Pontiac convertible 2 years old. A year later drove it (from New Hampshire) to WDW. This was back when there was only the MK. First new car (Chevy pickup) was in 1982. Went to WDW with it in 1985.

my GF at work just got screwed buying a new car. her DH was pushing her to get rid of her (paid off) 97 Plymouth Breeze--before anyone wouldn't give them anything for it. (note: there was nothing wrong with the car!) Now, you also need to know, she only works 3 days (about 15-20 hrs) a week and is a SAHM the other days. Her DH works 2nd shift and they have 1 kid. I know they struggle and don't make much money. She is very religious and even keeps track of her tips to be sure 10% goes to the church! :rolleyes2: Anyway, they own a twin home, have a huge Dodge truck...that pulls their boat!! So, anyway, he ropes her into trading in her car for a Hyudai Santa Fe. (Why she needs such a big car is anyone's guess? :confused3 ) Well, the smooth talking of the salesman and them not (seemingly) reading the contract over carefully before signing, got them that new SUV for $385/month for 5 years! :earseek: :earseek: I can't believe they would go from $0 payments (on a perfectly fine car) to that!! :earseek: Oh, and the funniest part?? She says, "We'll only be strapped for 2 years"..... :earseek: C'mon??!!! TWO years...... :rolleyes2 And after all that.......she didn't even buy a Honda!! :sad2:
