Completely Frustrated About Cake!!!

I think the term bridezilla gets thrown around WAY too much during weddings. Just because ppl are not holding up their end never means you are being a bridezilla. I wanted pink bridesmaids dresses - it is my favorite color and if you knew me there would never be a question about what color my wedding would be. Well half of them did not want pink because "it did not look good on them" and when I did not budge I was bridezilla.... I do not think standing up for yourself means bridezilla. I think women get that a lot, unfortunately! Just always be strong - see it all worked out and remember that gals!!! Unfortunately you may be called another B word too...ugh-

Thank you, Ladies! Thank you so much! I am glad I wrote the email I did because my planner said she finally got what I was wanting. I guess had I not, I'd have ended up with something I wouldn't have been happy with! And that's not good on your wedding day. So, again, Thank you for your support and kind words!

Glad you are getting what you wanted...I had the same issue with the bakery...In the end i just told them to make it as close as possible...My cake came out nothing like the original i asked for....while it was pretty it was very different and not what I asked for....

and i agree with everyone not bridezilla at all...

That is the EXACT cake that I want for my wedding. I even have a pic saved to my desktop. I had no idea it would cost that much. Wow. I'd be peeved too at the price increase. I hope you can get it straightened out.

You are hardly Bridezilla! As a novice cake decorator myself, the cake is just as important to me as my dress would be! I am always drawn to a cake...whether it be for a birthday or a wedding!

That is exactly how I feel! I'm not a cake decorator, but I have a friend that is. She makes beautiful cakes and I know that Disney does a great job at that too, SO I'm hoping that since they now know where I stand that the cake will be stunning! Thank you for your responses.
