completely changed everything!

Hi, I was talking to me sister last night about our trip to wdw next february, 8 Nights at the beach club with Virgin Holidays. We decided that it was a bit silly going all that way for a short amount of time especially as it was costing just over £3300, just flight and hotel

We decided to go a week earlier and go for two weeks instead and stay at the AKL instead thinking it would only be a few hundred more than what we originally booked, however when I checked the price I thought it was more expensive than expected so I went down to a TA and booked with Air tours. 2 weeks at AKL WITH tickets and Dining plan was the same price as Virgin with out the tickets and the Dining plan. I am really happy with the price and could not beat it anywhere even with TCD.

So even with the loss of deposit we are saving about £600, I don't think the virgin extras are worth £600! My DD does not know planes have seatback TVs so she won't know the difference if the plane won't have one, and we only live 3 miles from the airport so don't need online check etc.

Congrats on the change of booking.

I agree if you are going all that way you might as well go for more than a week.

I always find that paying for 2 weeks is often a bargin too as for 'only' a few hundred alot more for your money.

In fact we are going for 2 weeks and 4 days and this is more costly then if we had booked for a straight three weeks!!! (sadly DH can't get a full 3 weeks off work otherwise we would be going for 3 weeks)

Congrats on your new booking again, I bet you have a disney buzz right now :cool1:
