I told the tech I was SURE it was a boy - nope!! She flashed up about 5 different times and there was no denying she was a girl!! I even knew just by seeing the u/s image before the tech even told me!! We love the name - we came up with that one at the very beginning and have loved it since!!

ha...you're just like me...I swore I was having a girl...nope its a boy...isn't it wierd where you just have a great feeling what it is and then they tell you it is the opposite? I was like are you sure?? But they were definitely sure since they showed us his boy parts. :lmao: Congratulations!

:cool1: I told you so:goodvibes it's just what happened to me, I was so sure it was a boy up to the minute she was born, even the nurse doing my pelvic exam when I was in labor said she felt "boy parts" so imagine my surprise when she turned into a girl. I think that nurse needed to go back to school or something.

Congratulations, I love the name too! You will enjoy having a little princess, girls are so much fun.

CONGRATULATIONS!
I hope everything is going well now. My Amber, who is also having a girl, was told yesterday that if Rory is not born by September 1, she will be induced! Just a couple more weeks before the next Disney princess is here! Good Luck and here is praying for a happy and very healthy little princess! If you love everything Disney and want to know a special website, don't want to post that here, some may know about it already, but email me at tinkerdusted@yahoo.com so I can share that with you.

Congratulations on your new little girl-to-be. As the mother of three girls, it's an interesting but wonderful ride. I love the name it's absolutely lovely.:)

Thank you so much!! I have had so many people like her first name, but hate her middle name (Brookyln). They say it's dumb - a city or a bridge, not a name - but I don't care - I love it :lovestruc

***BABY UPDATE***

We were riding down the road on the way to see hubby's parents and I was almost sound asleep - I had just drifted off. All of a sudden a felt a little tap that woke me straight up!! Then I felt Ava turn a complete flip! It was so amazing!!! I literally felt her to a complete turn in my belly!!! That was the first time I have ever felt her move and it was so amazing! It literally had me in tears! I couldn't stop smiling for th rest of the day! Since then I've just felt little butterfly like feelings, but they are still so great!!

That is so cool, and it just gets better. How did you like the web site? I am going there Thursday, can't wait!! Continue to have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Ohhhh congrats on feeling her move in there!!! It is really an amazing feeling...makes me miss being pregnant....well juts for a slight second. Now reality kicks in. haha

That's awomse...continue enjoying. Has the spotting stopped? Did the placentia previa close up any?

Take care of you and little Ava!

I will certainly let you know what their store is like, when I come back to work on Friday.

That sounds great!!

Thank you so much - it really is an amazing feeling!!!! I am still going through periods where I am bleeding, but not nearly as bad. I am no longer working and able to stay at home and rest almost constantly - I really think that's what has helped. THe placenta has moved up slightly within the last few weeks - it's no longer lying as far down, but it's still considered "low lying" - they expect it to move up more.

That is so neat!

Yes it is! :goodvibes

That's so great that you can feel her kick. You must be getting so excited to meet her!

I am getting totally excited to meet her!! I day dream about her all day long - wondering what she'll look like, if she'll have my eyes, my hair, how her cry will sound, ect.... :goodvibes

***DISNEY UPDATE***

Well, it's looking like our trip is set as far as a date goes - the verdict is January 2010 :scared1: It seems sooooo far away!!! We are going ahead and going with January for many reasons - it just works out for all of us better!! It will be MUCH easier for my mom to get off of work, the weather is cool which is a must for my mom, it's value season, and we have a few things to celebrate that month too! So we'll be celebrating Ava's birthday (unknown yet ;) ), my dad's birthday (jan 20), and our 2nd wedding anniversary (jan 5). We are hoping for January 15 - January 22 which is a Friday - Friday. I am very excited even though it does seem like forever away!! I'm sure once Ava is here time will really fly though since we'll have our little girl!

Just wait until your 8 months prego and Ava is still doing flips!!! Doesn't feel as good then. :rotfl2: It gets really cool.. cause you can watch your belly dance!! Being pregnant is AMAZING. The crazy thing is - is you can already (at least I could) get a sense of their personality.
Dexter hated it when I slept on my belly at all. He would give me a huge kick even if I just slightly started to roll over. When he was born he hated to be swaddled and still hates being confined.
Sklyar was very different. I actually woke up sometimes on my belly - Even when I was almost full term. And she loved being swaddled and still loves sleeping with my arm around her. :)
Babies are amazing even before they are born

Enjoy your pregnancy!!
-nat
