The cake in the face pic is a tradition for DD(22), I have one for almost every birthday since year 1 with the Carebear cake & each one is priceless to me.

That is so true!! I may see about getting a cake - or better yet, just a small cupcake for her to eat! Nothing like having those cake in the face pictures inside Cindy's castle!!

Well just a little bit of news on my end - not baby related or disney related - but big news!! My husband has decided to join the National Guard. I'm still getting used to the idea and I'm quite nervous actually, but I'm confident everything will work out just fine!! He'll be leaving for basic training when Ava is 3 months old and he won't be home until right before she turns 6 months old. After paying off the rest of our debt, the enlistment bonus that he'll receive will pay for our Disney trip, and buy us each a brand new laptop! He's also agreed to let me get a new camera. Currently I just use a regular Kodak point and shoot basic digital camera - but I'm upgrading major to a Digital SLR - a Canon Rebel XSi I am so excited about this camera since photography is something I really, really enjoy!! I can't wait to take it with us to Disney and get amazing pictures!! Well, that's all the news for now! Stay tuned!!

***Baby Update***​

Just a little update on Ava. I had a doctor's appointment today and everything looked great. I had another ultrasound and she's looking perfect as always!! She's measuring about 14 inches long now and weighed 1 pound 11 ounces. Everything seems to be going much better than early on in my pregnancy thank the Lord! I'll have the wonderful glucose test in 2 weeks and another appointment also. I'm to the point where I'll have having regular appointments every 2 weeks from now on. I also have another ultrasound at 30 weeks to check Ava's growth. So far so good!!

....Oh and has anyone noticed that TWO more trips have been added in on my siggy?!?!?!? YEP... 2011 trips are in the works already!! And BOTH of those were hubby's idea!?!?!?!?!?

You will be surprised at what your body will do (go through). With my middle DD i swear her feet were with my lungs under my ribs and she used my bladder for a pillow.

Haven't been around in a little while and just wanted to check in!

Started having extreme swelling in my legs and hands and had a doctor's appointment about a week ago and they found protein in my urine and my BP was up. I'm officially on bedrest now - fun, fun, fun! Only 11 weeks until my due date, but I don't think Ava is going to wait that long! I have a doctor's appointment at 30 weeks, one at 32 weeks, an u/s at 32 weeks, one at 34 weeks, and then every week until Ava decides to make an appearance!

My baby shower is October 25th and I am so excited!!

I have been SOOOOO busy lately, but I just wanted to pop over and check in! I had my baby shower on Saturday and it went great!! We had about 25 people there and got tons and tons of stuff for our little girl! I've been seeing the doc every 2wks since 25 weeks and am pretty much on bedrest completely now due to my blood pressure and a few other things. At my last appointment I was 29wks 5dys, but I measured 34 weeks The midwife actually had someone else come in and remeasure me because she couldn't believe all of a sudden I was measuring a month ahead. So, I have an ultrasound scheduled for November 5th to check Ava's size and I also have an appointment with my regular OB instead of a midwife to discuss what's going on. If the baby is actually measuring 34 weeks already then there's a good chance she'll be here early December instead of January! I'm officially up 7lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight now, so I've finally gained something!! Other than that all is going great and I'm ready for my little girl to get here!!
