This is my very first post here on the DIS... so yes, indeed, I am still earning my ears.
My DH joined up last year as we planned our honeymoon, and are now in discussion over when we can get back there!

I'd been reading the Families board with my DH for ideas, and saw the link to your PTR, and just had to join up for myself!

I hope that your previous little bump in the road is merely just that -- HTH & smooth sailing from here on out!

WOW - how special do I feel to be your 1st post on the DIS!!! Welcome to both my PTR and the DIS!!! Hope you enjoy!! My hubby and I honeymooned at AKL in January of this year and had an amazing time!

Edited to add: I just saw your ticker - congrats on your baby girl on the way!!!! Have you picked out a name yet?? Ours will be Ava Brooklyn if a girl and Levi Alexander if it's a boy.

So sorry to hear about your scare! I hope everything turns out okay for you!
DH and I went to Raglan Road and LOVED it! The food was so flavorful, and our service was really good too, despite others saying it was slow. I'd highly recommend it!

I am so excited to go to Raglan Road - I hear the food is amazing!! And even if the service is slow that's fine with us - after all we are on vacation!!

I 2nd Raglan Road, btw. DH & I ate there -- barely made our ressies -- had a bad table, but the food was AWESOME. Not sure how the busy-ness at DtD is depending on the day of the week... We went on a Wednesday, and stuck around at night, but most of the clubs were DEAD... Obviously that won't be an issue after September.


We did pick a name -- it didn't take nearly as long as I'd thought, and we're pretty much settled -- Sheridan Elyse! I'll admit we were influenced by Passions (the soap opera, uh huh.) DH used to watch the NBC soaps religously when I first met him.

I was really looking forward to going in October b/c I'll be 21 and could go to some of the clubs and I'm sooo upset that PI will be GONE! I LOVE the name you picked for your baby girl - so beautiful - fit for a princess for sure!

Last time I'd been to PI I was 14, so it was a big difference to be a 'big girl' and be able to drink, LOL. Getting on the bus back to CBR@2 AM though, Wooo. That was something else.
Hopefully they'll reincarnate it as something bigger/better! Aside from Adventurer's Club, I could see lots of room for improvement!

These are a few pictures from the ultrasound we had at 13 weeks - the baby wouldn't stop moving, but we did get a few good picture that I thought I would share They are a little blurry b/c they are a picture of a picture.

They got this shot right as he was about to turn a flip!

***Update from my OB appointment today***​

Everything went really great at the doctor's today!! My blood work and exam both went perfectly!! Apparently the bleeding I had over the weekend was from a ruptured blood vessel in the placenta, which thankfully healed itself. I am so thankful my little miracle is ok!! We got to hear that beautiful heartbeat - it was strong and in the 160's. The doctor put me on pelvic rest meaning no lifting, heavy activities, picking up children, stairs, ect... I'm just supposed to take it easy and return to full bed rest if the bleeding begins again. Thanks for the support and prayers said for me and my little one!!

I'm so happy for you! It's great to hear good news about your little one. Being pregnant is fun and very frightening at the same time. My little girl turned 5months today and it feels like just yesterday I was pregnant.
I hope you have a happy healthy nine months (who are we kidding... it's really 10 months) !
