I completely reworked all of our ADR's:scared1: for our upcoming trip. I did not mean to it just sorta happened..:rotfl:

I was trying to get CG, which I did:woohoo: which is what started this whole thing. So... Here is the back story short and sweet, Romantic:lovestruc/ Christmas:santa:trip just DH and me :lovestruc, 5 nights with DXDDP. We just moved to Georgia and will be coming 2 or 3 days before we check in at Disney to visit family and friends. Normally we would check in around 3ish, But since we are staying with others, we plan on checking in early and hitting MK, hopefully the room will be ready if not we will just head out.

I do need some suggestions for some empty spots, and over all critique.

Arrival Day -
Brunch - 10:30 to 11ish - Any thoughts?
Dinner - 7:40 Flying Fish
Day 1
Breakfast - Sleep in - breakfast snack in room
Lunch - 11:35 - 50's Prime time Cafe -
Dinner - 8:25 Tutto
Day 2
Breakfast - 8:00 Tusker House -
Lunch - Looking for lite lunch - possible sharing TS does not have to be at AK - Possibly Boardwalk?
Dinner - 9:05 California Grill
Day 3
Breakfast - 8:30 Crystal Palace
Lunch - Sorta thinking a snack will take care of us till dinner - best snack suggestion at MK?
Dinner - 6:45 - Liberty Tree tavern
Day 4
Breakfast - 9:05 Kona
Lunch - Again lite lunch - possible sharing TS - in Ecpot
Dinner - 8:20 Teppan Edo

Day 5 - Check out
Breakfast - 8:00 Boma
Then to DTD for last look around/purchase's -
Use up any snack credit at Goofy's Candy shop.
Lunch - Earl of Sandwich - to go for ride home
Question - Can you order reg sandwiches around 10:30 ish?

I think that I have covered all the credits?

As of now, I have counted you using up 12 of your 15 TS credits (assuming you'd pay for EoS OOP). Here are some additions I would make:

-If you want to go directly to MK on your arrival day I would go with The Plaza for a brunch/lunch. It should hold you over plenty before your FF ADR.

-For lunch on your AK day, I would totally head over to Sanaa at Kidani. You read nothing but good things about it there and it is a short ride from AK.

-We personally wouldn't do TE since there are much better hibachi restaurants near us and instead I would add in another signature, either Citricos (GF), AP (WL) or Jiko (AKL). They are all very good restaurants on the more romantic side (and it doesn't look like you have any real romantic dinners on your Romantic/Chirstmas trip with just you and DH).

Whatever you decide, enjoy! :thumbsup2

LOL on the rework! :rotfl: I did the same thing! Hard not to - you change 1 thing, you sort of end up changing several others!

What resort are you staying at? If you are at an Epcot resoort these are convenient:

1st day brunch: Captain's Grill has a breakfast buffet - no characters and an ala carte menu. Don't know what time they serve until tho.

OR: we always start at Beaches & Cream on our arrival day. They open at about 11 & there is NO WAIT!! Relaxing, yummy & fun atmosphere.

Day 2 lunch :ESPN club @ Boardwalk. We wanted a lighter dinner last year & DH loves their wings. He got the Buffalo wings (counted as an appetizer) I got an entree salad with chicken & then he ordered a cake type dessert. I waited & used a snack credit at Boardwalk bakery. You get quite a few wings, I think I remember 8 full wings & the salad was light but satisfying.

Day 3 snack @ MK: would suggest MK bakery or a sundae @ the Plaza, depending what you like.

Day 4 light lunch: We haven't been there yet (going in Sept) but lots of people like the pizza at Via Napoli. That & a salad sounds nice.

Sorry I don't know about Earl of Sandwich. Have a great vacation!! :goodvibes

Just saw you are eating at Tutto Itakia or a dinner, so you may not want Via Napoli. Le Chefs de France has a lunch with a soup & grilled cheese sandwich which we have had before if that appeals to you.

When I add them up, I come up with 15 credits used. Flying Fish and California Grill are 2 TS credits per person which may be what the PP missed.

Will you have a car that you'll be using? Where are you staying? These answers may change my opinions below...

For Day 2, were you just planning on spending the morning AK? The boardwalk is a ways to go just for lunch, if you are going back to AK in the afternoon. If you are staying in the boardwalk area and are going back for a break, then it would be fine. But if that's not the case, I'd suggest one of the TS restaurats at AKL or Yak & Yeti in AK even. If you have an ADR during the parade time, you can overlook it if you have a window seat.

For Day 4, if you're staying at a monorail resort, Kona is a good choice for breakfast. If you're not staying at a monorail resort, I go back and forth on whether I think Kona is worth the trip.

I'm not about 15 credits used as I'm counting 13...if they pay for EoS.

Where are you staying? Your arrival day you are looking for brunch....you could prob eat at the resort depending where your at....most resorts have good places to eat. It's always an option before you head into MK.

I second eating at ESPN Club for day 2, it's at the Boardwalk, right outside of Epcot, and sounds like a GREAT place for food.

Day 3; def hit up the Bakery in MK....sooooo much good stuff:) Def worth the snack credit. Can't wait till I'm there in Nov:cool1:

Also, I'm thinking as well that you might want to change up Tepan Edo...unless you are really in love with eating there. This is your romantic Christmas trip. You may want to look at another signature restaurant. You have the credits left. (this should take you to 15) Look at Jiko, AP, maybe Citricos or Narcoossee's. Depending where you are in the day, and where you are going....look at the menus.

Have a great trip!!!

Op here,
We are staying at POFQ, we love it as it is a smaller resort, and the grounds are beautiful. Can't wait to check out the decorations.

I have made ADR's for 12 of the meal credits, leaving 6..we are hoping to save 2 for EoS, that would leave 4 for us to share or combine with a snack credit. If we don't have credits for EoS, it's no big deal, we will just eat along the road. I'm asking for GC for my birthday which is coming up, I plan on saving them for the trip. So it might work out better with the GC's. We do bring snacks and beverages with us for the room. I sometimes have issues with low sugar levels, so this is a must for us.

Arrival Day - 3 Thoughts after checking in.. 1) Taking the boat to DTD and grabbing a bite to eat down there and relaxing and then head for Epcot then to FF for dinner... or ... 2) Head for MK possibly the Plaza .. or.. 3) just grab some breakfast at this hole in the wall restaurant in our home town that's makes the best French toast ever..

DH and I really enjoy TE, we have never had a bad meal here. We want to stay in Epcot for our last night. Any other suggestion or somewhere on the board walk?

I agree with Teppan Edo! Best steak I have ever had on Disney property, perhaps best steak anywhere. And I loved the show...so much better than the hibachi places here in Richmond, VA.

Another one of the best meals that I have ever had on Disney property was at Wolfgang Puck Cafe (downstairs, table-service restaurant). The Macadamia Nut Crusted Breast of Chicken was so good that I was trying to figure out ways to lick my plate gracefully. I refrained, but it wasn't easy :rotfl2:

If you like sushi, on weekdays they have a happy hour with half price sushi at their sushi bar. The best sushi I have ever eaten! And it was a great price!

Edited to add: Have you tried Wolfgang Puck Express for to-go sandwiches? We were so impressed with Wolfgang Puck! Earl of Sandwich (while the portions were huge) just wasn't that special to us.
