Complete Orlando Question

Just been reading the small print on CO. Hope im not being a bit thick but, they are not ABTA protected so does that mean, IF they go bump then we dont get the accom/ticket money back?, only if youve booked a flight inclusive package you are covered by ATOL!

At the moment they are coming out by far the cheapest, and i just want to make sure all my bases are covered.

Hi,
That's correct. You would get the money back through your insurance or credit card company.
ABTA covers travel agents which Complete Orlando are not and ATOL covers flights (think that's the right way round!) so its not anything sinister why you aren't covered its just that those covers don't apply to what Complete Orlando is selling if that makes sense!
We are booked with them for this summer and have booked comprehensive Independant traveller insurance to cover us if the worst happened.

If you book Accomodation/tickets only then unfortunately not. ATOL only covers flight inclusive packages.

If you book a flight inclusive package through them you would be covered by ATOL.

It's typical for me really as it's worked out quite awkward.

Our situation is we want to go around 2nd October 2012 but obviously the free dining offer ends on 1st November this year, with flights being released 11 months out by the time we could book then the free dining will have ended.

If I booked the hotel through CO then later added the flights how would that work?

I dont think there is a problem with booking flights and accomm at different times with CO,that is what we plan to do. Also although it says that free dining ends in November, it didnt end for this year until March 31st just gone, so it might well be extented. Another point is there might be offers on the USA Disney sight that you could take advantage of as their offers come out later.
