Does anyone know if you book your Disney hotel through complete Orlando do you still get the same extras as booking through Disney direct?

This is what you get booking direct with disney: -
  • Extra you get with Disney
  • EARmails Service
  • Disney Store Merchandise Discount at disneystore.co.uk
  • Niki Bryan Spa Discount
  • Preferred Fireworks Viewing for Wishes™ Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom® Park
  • Preferred Fireworks Viewing for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot®
  • Walt Disney World Marina Discounts
  • Planet Hollywood® Dining Certificate
  • Planet Hollywood® Souvenir Merchandise Keepsake
  • One round of Miniature Golf

Don't think you do, hopefully someone will post who has booked with them to confirm.

Whats the difference in price?
Just priced our 17 nights at OKW next August with 3x 21 day tix
Disney.co.uk £2,811 less 3%(£84) Quidco = £2727
Complete Orlando £2,658

£69 cheaper.
Last year(and this year) we booked thru Disney and got the extras, didn't use any of them(except 30 min game card which you don't get now) doubt we will use any of them this year.
I would go with cheapest company as the extras are worthless to me, maybe not to you.

I doubt you do to be honest. I booked three rooms with them at the weekend, but because I didn't book tickets as well we didn't get any of the extras!

Saw on another forum you have to ring to book the preferred fireworks viewing. Is this correct?

Do you get some actual paperwork nearer the time from WDW direct and info how to do this.

last time we booked with US disney and were just given the pack with the 'extra's' when we checked in.

We booked with CO and as far as I know we don't get the extras that you get from Disney UK. However we got those extras in Dec. and didn't use any of them!!

When your package arrives 2-3 weeks before you leave it has vouchers in there for the fireworks, with a phone number to ring. MK location gets poor reviews, Epcot is supposed to be OK but we never have problems at Epcot viewing them.
Saying that you have just reminded me we leave next Wednesday (check into OKW Sun 8th) and not received our package. Are they still sending them?

I've just received the following response from complete orlando

Thank you for your interest in Complete Orlando
When booking a property on-site at Disney, Complete Orlando offer the same extras as if you were to book direct!
Once the booking is made it usually takes approximately 72hrs for Disney to provide us with your reservation number which we will then forward onto you.
Please do let me know if you would like me to look into any prices & availability for you
I look forward to being of further assistance to you.
Many Thanks & Kind Regards

I just checked confirmation email, even though I paid the balance on my credit card I paid the deposit with DMIL's credit card so they will probably send it out to her address, need to check with her if its arrived before I start ringing.:)

We had these last year and didn't use any of them, but I have booked the preferred fireworks viewing for this time as I thought I may as well give it ago although I have booked the Wishes Dessert Party so not too bothered about the MK viewing. We will more than likely use the mini golf this time as we haven't played for a while. I have only ever eaten at Planet Hollywood once and that won't be repeated it was awful.

Where does Disney get off advertising these things as special perks for booking with them directly? Sounds to me like a free for all :confused3 Just asking because they use it as a selling point. As Wayne said, I would go with the best price though. Those extras only have value if you really want to try them out or planned on doing them to begin with.

I had heard you don't get these extras with CO, I wonder if someone is getting mixed up somewhere. Did CO read the question as extras like EMH, free parking etc? maybe they don't know about the extras listed above.
I am not fully convinced by the response posted above as the extras are not listed. Maybe I am wrong and they are included but I would clarify if you want them.

Perks that come along with a US package differ from the perks that come with the UK package. For instance the preferred firework viewing you mentioned does not come with a US package but does with a UK one. You'll get your paperwork for it closer to your traveldate. It also has the phonenumbers on there you need to make a reservation. If you don't want to wait until then; simply call WDW. It might take them some asking around (not all know how to make a ressie for this), but they can be made at 180 days out. Just make sure the CM isn't confusing this with the Wishes Desert Party.

Yes the preferred fireworks viewing definitely wasn't a US booking perk. I can remember the planet hollywood voucher and mini golf were the same. Not a big deal as we only used the golf voucher last time.

Where are the preferred viewing locations located?

Correct. Fireworks viewing are only offered on packages booked through Disney US where they have the Platinum Package. If you look at the cost per day, you only have to stay a couple of days to pay for a fireworks cruise with that money :scared1:

I booked my fireworks through Disney UK 180 days out. Dial Disney UK and select option 4. Your call is routed to a US Disney office where they have CMs dedicated to booking these things so they know exactly what you are talking about. I did this after several calls to the US CRO where they did as mentioned above and tried to book me for all kinds of things but nobody knew anything about the fireworks viewings.

Just received our package from Complete Orlando - those perks are not included.
We are not bothered at all as we had them last year and didn`t use any of them.
We booked through Complete Orlando when Disney UK didn`t have the OKW offer so are very happy with them.
And just two weeks today and we will be joining you guys at OKW!:banana::banana:

Carole

Thanks for that Carole, didn't think they were included.

Will you make it to either DISmeet? probably not the 16th but we have one on the 26th. Link to the thread below if you have not seen it.
