Complete newbie question.

Dates not finalised yet but looking at Sept 9th to late 2012 - Beach Club two bedroom villa for 8 nights. Believe I need to rent 308 points (includes one weekend) to cover that.
My questions please - If someone has say 160 points available for rent at BCV, can I rent those and then look for the balance of 148 from another renter?
Also considering a Family Suite at Art of Animation as an alternative as only 6 of us (adults). Is the comparison similar or poles apart?

Welcome. I personally would rent from someone who can rent you the entire stay. I would say there is no comparison between A of A (it'll be over $350 per night at A of A) and a 2 bedroom at BCV. Only one bedroom at A of A...that leaves four adults staying in the living room.

Renting from two people would make two separate reservations and you would probably have to check out and back in again and move to a different room.

If you are not a member, the points are useless to you. You can't do anything with them. You won't be able to contact DVC for any reason before you check in. And you won't be able to make any changes.
