September 19th, 2015 (Part Three)

Finding New Uses for Duffy and Photo Spam
While we were heading over the Canada, my sister called my mom and they were catching up.

I was just piddling around waiting for my mom to finish and another random stranger complimented my hair, I thought that was so sweet!

PICTURE SPAM

While we were in the back of the Canada pavilion, we stopped to get Duffy’s!

Hot Momma and I have special memories of doing the KidCot stops on our first trip in 2006! Back then they were these masks that you decorated and every country would add on a piece of paper or a trinket. I was mostly excited to grab a Duffy because he makes for a WONDERFUL fan.

Then we made our way over to the UK, taking a few more pictures on the way..
If you didn't already know, I wish I was British so naturally this is my favorite country of them all

I couldn’t go to the UK and not go into the stores!
How cute was this shirt?!

There were so many things I was tempted to buy and so many attractive British and Scottish CMs I wanted to talk to...(Let's be real, that's why we all go in there )

I am in love with Cadbury chocolate and they had a Cadbury hot chocolate mix that I was dying to try! I just knew I wouldn’t have any room in my luggage though!

They also had some beautiful sterling silver jewelry! I have been wearing and Irish promise ring called a Claddagh for about a year now and Hot Momma and I noticed they had one with a Mickey head on it!

I just had to buy it, and I still love it sooo much!

After taking a few more pictures, I ditched my nice shirt for something a little more comfortable and it definitely was necessary to wear on this day. (Don’t worry you’ll see it soon)

September 19th, 2015 (Part Four)
Hey everyone, thank you for the amazing feedback, I thought I would just try to squeeze in one before before the weekend is over!

Thank The Phoenicians!
EPCOT was just a hustling with people so we just took our time and enjoyed ourselves.

We popped into the shop near the International Gateway then headed on over to France!

I looked in the gift shop but I didn’t take any pictures of anything...

We also got our Duffy stamped. On our way to Morocco I saw some of the booths they had set up for Food and Wine!

We went into the shop in Morocco to grab a present for my sister!

We ended up getting her this anklet, she really loves it!

Then we ventured out to find this fountain and I knew it was a photo opportunity waiting to happen!

And you can also see what my shirt says! I got it for Easter and had been dying to wear it to EPCOT ever since! Just in case you can’t make out the words it says “If you can read this, thank the Phoenicians”.

Next stop was Japan! I was really excited to try some green tea candy that I had heard so much about!
Japan has the coolest candy selection in all of the pavilions!

I was in between the Kit-Kats and the Pocky sticks...

I ended up with the Pocky sticks though and oh my gosh, they were sooo good!! After getting Duffy stamped, we headed to America!

We had a not so friendly CM from New Jersey stamp our Duffy and Hot Momma took a bathroom break. I took this opportunity to take a picture of the pins I had traded for so far..
I'm sorry, I don't remember where I got each of them but I thought they were SO cute!

It was getting to be about lunch time and we were famished so it was time to try a new
restaurant for the both of us! Nine Dragons!!

I love chinese food so I was very excited about this! The CM in there was very sweet and helpful when we needed help picking our entrees!

I'm looking at the menu and I can't figure out what what exactly Hot Momma got but it was like fried rice, shrimp, and an egg roll! She liked it!!​

I got orange chicken and rice.

Upon the CM’s suggestion, I tried the Lychee Ice Cream and Hot Momma had the Caramel Ginger ice cream.

Both of us LOVED our meals! Although I wouldn’t get the ice cream again (not too big on ginger) everything was yummy!
They had seating inside and out but we chose to be outside! ​

This girl was obviously not excited about me trying to capture the ambiance

September 19th, 2015 (Part 5)

Duffy the Bear is Complete!!
After finishing up our lovely lunch, we headed into the shops in China to get Duffy stamped! This pavilion is SO beautiful, I just can't get over it

Then it was on to Italy!!

We didn’t spend too much time in there but I do think I popped in the shop and almost bought some souvenirs.

We hit Germany and Norway without too much excitement.

The only memorable thing from Norway was there was a party people who were just a little tipsy trying to get their passports stamped and the poor CM was being bombarded with all these books and these people being loud and crazy in a rather small space. I felt so bad for her!

I can't believe my lack of pictures! I think it was because of the heat and how crazy busy the place was!

Then we headed to Mexico!

We had completed our Duffys!! We sat for a minute amongst the children (where I belong ) and colored him in! I didn't get to finish mine but it's okay because I have it hung up with the back facing up so I can see my name writing in all the different languages and such

Mom did finish hers, isn't it so cute?!

The finished products! Mine is on the right and Hot Momma's is on the left! This is such a fun way to do the countries in the WS! I do it every time and each come out looking slightly different! Even if you didn't want to display a Duffy I've brought a photo matte and had the CM's stamp that!

We headed down in the store and where the Grand Fiesta Tour is! The ride in Mexico is one of my favorite things in all of EPCOT but for some reason we didn’t ride it this time! We mainly came down there so we could get a picture in the big sombreros because my mom has a picture just like it from when she visited Disney in high school!

After attempting to get one ourselves, a kind CM offered to help us out!

By this point my feet were VERY hot in my Converse and I knew that I wasn’t going to make it any longer so, to MouseGear we went!

We looked around at all their ears, clothing and Vera Bradley before finding the flip flops! I ended up with this pair! They're pretty comfy and were just what I needed

Hot Momma also bought this sweatshirt!

We had also come back to Future World because it was just about time for our fastpasses!
Where could we be going?

A JOURNEY INTO IMAGINATION, THAT'S WHERE!

Believe it or not this was a first for me! Hot Momma says she thinks she had done this ride before but she doesn’t remember it too much.
With our fastpasses we just walked on the ride, and were taken on a wild, crazy ride with Figment!

So.. my thoughts on this ride: I was surprisingly underwhelmed. I thought it was going to be so great but honestly it’s not one of my favorites. Hot Momma felt the same. I thought I was going to get really into it but no I was just mostly confused the entire ride Nevertheless, I’m glad we did it!

September 19th, 2105 (Part 6)

My Not-So-Frumpy Encounter
Then we headed back to Spaceship Earth for our second Fastpass of the day

On our way, I saw someone VERY exciting; I saw Jess the Frump!! I couldn’t believe it, I had been waiting so long to run into her because she’s one of the people I credit with putting me on this Disney path!! However, she was there with her Mom and her boyfriend and I got very nervous and was afraid I would bother her so I DIDN’T SAY HI. I know, I’m still mad at myself!! I can’t believe I did that, Hot Momma and I stood there for a solid minute trying to get me to get up the courage to say hello. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it though and we continued on over to SE. I was glad we got Fastpasses for this ride because the line was crazy!

This will forever and always be the best ride in EPCOT. I don’t care what anyone says, I would happily ride this thing all day long. Just the appreciation for history, and pointing out how far humans have come is so amazing!

Classic

Hot Momma had never ridden this before and loved the video at the end, she was CRACKING up!

After our ride, We really didn’t have much planned. We knew there were a few things in the WS we wanted so we headed back that way.

When we arrived at the UK pavilion we headed down to the water and sat at the tables near the Fish and Chips booth. We were welcomed by some very friendly ducks! There was also this very adorable British family sitting beside us and I couldn't help from listening in on their conversation. They had their grandma with them and she commented on how cute it was that they serve fish and chips on paper to look like newspaper since that was made illegal in England. I don't know, I thought was quite interesting!

After taking a short break, we hopped up and headed back to Japan, we stopped and watched the drums for a while. I think these ladies are SO talented!

We stopped by Italy to take some pictures in the bridge!

Then we headed over to Germany!
