W1: Animal Kingdom - The tree is the I. The paper on the N reminds me of the strata layers. And there are 3 different dinos for embellies.
X1: Mickey
ZZ: Goofy - Can't really tell in the picture, but the top of the Y is a yellow stripe, sort of like what he wears in AK.

And Nancy, your letters are beautiful too. After working with the DL letters, sometimes less is more. I had worries that some of my letters were too plain, but sometimes it helps the word flows better. And the Flamingo is too cute!

This swap is going to be amazing!!!

My goal today is to get the rest of my groups cut and then assemble what I can this afternoon and tonight to finish this swap off... I got some great inspiration last night around 10:15pm and the family was laughing at me because I'm jotting notes down while we are watching the news!!

I did get some cutting done yesterday. I did a tree for AK too, but I used the tree from the Pooh cart, altered in CDS, so I think it will be different enough.

I have been working on this swap every night after I get the kiddos in bed...and I am almost done! 5 groups finished and 3 left to go but I know exactly what I'm doing for those last 3. Woo Hoo!

I really REALLY wanted to get this and the Resort swap completed by the end of this weekend (I'm going to a weekend crop Fri. and Sat.) because I have the ABC swap for Make A Wish on my plate now too.

I'm a tad stressed about making huge progress on these swaps because WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!! Super excited about little "Bentley" joining our family. If you want to see him go to this website and click on the PUPPIES page and scroll down towards the bottom. www.marcosahavanese.com He'll be 15 weeks when he comes to our home so he's a little older than a teeny tiny pup coming home at 10 weeks. The breeder held him back from a litter to use him as a show dog, but his teeth are not *perfect* so he is coming to us as a much anticipated and already loved pet!! The breeder said he already knows "Come, Stay, Sit" and he can ring a bell to go out to potty. He sleeps through the night. And he likes his crate for naps etc. She's obviously been working with him quite a bit so hopefully he'll be easier than I am anticipating. we are counting down the days!! Excited so I just had to share... I know it's not really related to swaps exactly...well, kinda.

I'll try to do photos tonight of my progress on this swap thus far. I know I've been jotting down notes for what you ladies made on my swap groups print out next to everyone's name. that's been so helpful as I plan my projects.

Ok, Ann.. .it's your fault.. I'm blaming you... I lost my extra package of cutting blades for my paper cutter!!!! You were the last one to post so you are in trouble! LOL

Nope, I put them up because I knew I'd need them...and now can't find them...but I ran out of pop dots too...so I'm off to HL... I need to curl my bangs first.. MY DH still has not noticed I cut 1.5" off my hair... I love the man..but he is Captain Clueless this week!!

I've spent my last 4 Mother's Days at soccer tournaments..and I'm here to tell you this have been the best Mother's Days.. I really don't do anything all day but cheer!!!

Well, see my tree is for Kilimanjaro Safaris, that's why the elephant is there. I think that tree from the Pooh cart looks more like the Tree of Life tree. Which is totally different.

Now what I can't figure out is why this swap was so easy to do, and I had tons of ideas. But my own resort swap, haven't even started. And the inspiration meter is set on low.

I have my W for Wild done and P for Pochontas done as well. My plan is to get these all done by 5/14 as we are getting a new puppy on the 15th too!!! I have ordered supplies for my Adventure and Safari group, so I really hope they come soon!!!!
