COMPLETE ABC Letter/Elements Swap

P1040948.jpg

so here is my journal box for group 2 "B" - Belle...

used 5" for actual book, 4 1/2" for the yellow topper for journaling which gives you 4" x 2" for journaling, chalked the pages w/brown and yellow....

is this enough journalling room? should I do the shadow in black? what's you thoughts ladies?

TIA!

Lisa--you've inspired me :goodvibes I need to think "outside the box" when it comes to journal boxes I almost always make squares or rectangles and maybe a circle here or there. I need to get my cricut manuals out and use some new and exciting shapes for journal boxes!

Thanks for the inspiration :thumbsup2

I think I got it to work.

Here are my items for Group A, letter T. The flower on the T is pop-dotted. The Mickey ears on the mat allow a picture to slide underneath, and I inked the left side of the white paper. These are done. Now I get to attack the Letter M :)

Thanks for the encouragement!
I'm having so much fun swapping again!
So happy you all are liking what I'm creating!!

How would you all feel about a hot air balloon as the journal box for Small World? I'm using rainbow colors for the other elements and Disney paper that has the Small World children printed on it as accent ribbons. If you think a hot air balloon would work, I'll get started on trying to piece it together.

The ribbon on the mat lifts up to allow the picture. The heart opens up to become the journal box.
