I know how you feel you have my sympathy. I remember one day at work with talking with other employees, one said I drive 45 mins to work my reply was I drive one and a half hours, another said my wife wrecked my car my reply was my wife totaled my car. One said my dog is sick and have o take it to the vet, my reply my dog just died. No one else complained true story

I'm getting ready to take DS18 who has Asperger's to my dentist. He's aged out of his pediatric dentist and needs a cleaning. He is very anxious. He doesn't want to go. New situations can cause him to freak out a little. I know he's going to groan and complain through his whole appointment. Luckily, my dentist works with lots of autistic kids and has assured me that she can handle whatever he dishes out. We'll see how this goes...

well, on the upside, it's Thursday, the last day of my workweek (YAY!)!! :banana:

now, to my rants:

my boss has been out of the country all week, and waits until yesterday to email me, wanting the financials for the week. dude, if you're not going to contact me until the workweek is almost over, you can rest assured I've already taken care of things! no need to micromanage me at this point!

DH found out Monday night when he got to work (he's working 6:00pm-4:30am this week and next week) that he's scheduled to work Friday of next week. he is NOT supposed to be scheduled for overtime on the weeks he works night shift (he works 10 hour shifts, M-Thu). ordinarily, i'd be thrilled about overtime, because it's rare as hen's teeth where he works. however, he has a dr.'s appointment that day with his rheumatologist which has been scheduled for 3 months, and he DESPERATELY needs to go. the problem with going is, he'll be getting shots in his hips, thighs and shoulders, so, once he gets them, he won't be able to stand up and work all night (thus, why the appointment was made on a Friday on a week he works night shift). the dr.'s appointment can't be rescheduled until august 23rd, and DH can't wait that long, so his only option is to lay out of work that Friday night, which means receiving points on his record. after 2 occurrences, he gets written up. i hate for him to have to miss work, but i don't think his bursitis and tendonitis will wait another month. he can barely get around as it is. i keep praying next Friday's overtime shift will be cancelled.

Ugh what a day...

Oh yeah.................AND I told the poor girl at Dunkin Donuts, "I love you too." instead of "thank you". Awkward.
***Yes I know there are bigger issues in the world to complain about, but sometimes you just want to get it out.:goodvibes

Oh man, I almost do this a lot! I always pause before hanging up on the phone or leaving a store. It is habit when I talk to my kids or family. lol

My complaint...I hate allergies. Pollin must be high because I am sick of sneezing my head off, blowing my nose and having a headache.

We don't have central air and I am HOT.

Hey, but at least you're hot. There are some ugly people in the world but not you!

(ps. please provide picture)

Noisy office mates. The idiot in the next cubicle beside me MOANS as he eats his lunch. WHO DOES THAT!?!?!??!

I don't know... but please provide menu and/or recipe. i.e. "I'll have what she's having."

My complaint is from the other day, dentist issues with my DD's , cavities AGAIN!!! Then to come home and ask them to brush and floss their teeth after eating and I get the moaning, complaining "I don't want to brush my teeth...I am not doing it!!"

Ummmm....really??? Insert freak out from mom here, kids run for cover.:furious: They just don't get it. VERY FRUSTRATING!! A little cooperation and less arguing please!!!:headache::headache::headache:

I am in the middle of a wait for, yet more tests when, I am bitten by a Tick, it is just now finally! healing. We have had a miserable summer this far, now in Day 4 of a heat wave, and just had a Tornado watch issued for our area! :scared1:

Thanks for a place to VENT!!!! Update:. Warning dropped

My complaint of the day was I asked my husband last week to call the eye doctor for me and check which kid was due to get her eyes checked in july. Which he did and he made an appointment for her today at 1:45. I get there at 1:25 to fill out paperwork and here he told me the wrong kid. The one I had brought with me isnt due til September. Ughhh. I felt super bad too bc she was supposed to go over her friends and i told her no!

Its actually pretty funny but still aggravating.

The UPS guy didn't deliver a package yesterday. He marked it as delivered, but it never made it to my door. He didn't even STOP here yesterday (I was putting the trash out when he drove by. Didn't even slow down in front of the house).

So, I called Amazon and explained what happened. It is just a hat, but DH needs it for Resident camp (with DS) next week. Amazon graciously sent out another hat for DH, overnighting it. Not charging me for it either. I also called UPS and told them their driver didn't deliver, and the lady that called me back said "I must not be looking in the right place." Um, I have one front door, and you can't get to my back door, as I have a tall privacy fence with a solid lock on the gate (you can get out of the backyard, but you can't get in!) :confused3 She also tried to tell me that it was a new driver, that he did stop at my house, and that I must be confused. Got me a bit cranky over that comment, she did. :headache::mad:

Why am I complaining? The UPS guy stopped--today--and dropped off the hat. The Amazon tape on the box was cut open, and the packing slip is missing. The plastic wrap on the hat is slit open on one end.

I called UPS and told them how the box was delivered (today) and the lady told me Amazon probably shipped it that way. I told her I think their new driver got into my package, discovered it was a $25 canvas hat, and decided to go ahead and deliver it. I was assured that they only hire quality people and no one ever steals packages on the job. :laughing::rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

Obviously that woman must be new as well.

I'll send it back to Amazon, and keep the other one that is coming via FedEx tomorrow.

All in all, a pretty mild complaint. I'm glad that's all that is bugging me today.

So much drama! Family members not speaking to each other and DH and I are caught in the middle. :(
All I want to do is sleep! I feel and look huge! I have 2 and half months to go! ::yes::
My boys keep getting up super early! Do not come smack you insomniac mother in the face at 7 am like it is the best time to wake up and make you breakfast! GO BACK TO BED!!!!!

In other news DS #2 asked if I wanted to join his pirate crew! :lmao:

OMG. :rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2: Hysterical.

Then DD said REALLY loud, "Why did you just tell the lady you loved her too?"

Even better. :rotfl::lmao::rotfl:

Hard day. You made it better. So funny.

Vent hmmm - you know what I rather laugh and smile over yours! :rotfl2:

stupid whine ahead........There is nothing on TV and I can't believe I am watching Sharknado. It has Tara Reid in it. And Ian Ziering. Sharknado.

(Love this light thread by the way. Obviously these are silly rants, but funny to read. Seriously. Sharknado.)
