Competitions and/or large groups end of January??

Looking at end of January '06 for a quick weekend getaway to the World. Does anyone know if there are any large groups coming in the weekend of January 27/28/29, ie: Pop Warner, Cheerleading competitions, etc? Not that it will make me change my plans, but I just want to be aware of any possible increases in park attendance.

Well, no replies must mean we'll have POP and the parks all to ourselves in January!

Lostusphere endes the 27th....it's a huge conference, but it seems most hang around the Swan/Dolphin area. The conference resorts don't include POP. Some bring their families and visit the parks during this weekend after the conference ends, but we've been several years during this time and it's never been an issue. If you see bumblebee yellow backpacks, you'll know they were conference attendees.

We'll be there at the parks the 27th and 28th ourselves.
