Hi Everyone!

I am trying to decide where to stay this trip. I've been to the Poly, CBR, POR and YC. Can't afford the YC (even though it's my favorite!!!) this time without the "postcard"! I'm thinking about Dolphin/Swan, CSR or AKL...or back to POR or over to POFQ.

Friends tell me I'd enjoy the All Stars or POP, but I don't think so after the other places I like.

I have the luxury of time, being a teacher, so I am not tied to certain dates, as long as it's during summer vacation!

I'd appreciate any ideas.

If you haven't tried FQ, I'd highly recommend it!

Just stayed there over mother's day wknd and loved it. Always stayed at POR before becoming DVC and thought I wouldn't like FQ as much but now that we've tried it, it has become our new favorite moderate! It's so cute! The bus service was absolutely excellent as well - not more than a 5min wait coming or going to the parks and they're the 1st to be picked up and 1st to be dropped off before heading over to POR since they share buses. The CM's were very nice and service all around was great. We liked it so much that we came home and changed our wknd trip for Aug. from the CR to FQ again. I just can't say enough about it.

Go with the Swan or Dolphin. You can't beat the location and the rates will be close, if not better than a Disney moderate and I understand that they have a standing teacher/educator discount. I've never stayed at either but from reading what others have to say about them and looking at the resort pictures on the internet they look great.

Hi Sandy,

My advice is to try for a teacher rate at the Swan. You say the YC is your favorite resort, and the Swan is located right there at Epcot too. The Swan has those "heavenly beds" and after spending a few nights there myself a month ago I can attest that I have never slept in a more comfortable bed.

But, if you would miss the mickey wake up call and the Disney soaps and lotions, then I'd suggest trying the AKL. It was a beautiful one of a kind resort.

Third choice for me would be to try the POFQ. We want to try that one soon.

Since you are flexible with the dates, did you try looking at Mousesavers.com to see if any of the discounts could apply to you? Aside from the teacher discount at Swan/Dolphin, there are good discounts for AP holders, residents of certain states, etc. Maybe YC wouldn't be out of your reach then.

Happy planning! :flower1:

Thanks for the input. Sounds as if it may be either the Swan/Dolphin or POFQ. Time to check more rates!

I'll get back to you when I make my ressies!

Thanks!
